Because I have to, I really do.
Otakus= Jocks/Cheerleaders. The king of cool here, who seem to own this board. They watch the latest anime from their services and always know what's HAWT ahead of everyone else. They have their inside jokes that the less-than-popular kids won't get, and shove them straight in your face.
Golden-Age nerds= Band geeks. Having a respect for the classics and the will to aspire to be amoung the classic directors and animators of yore, they'll be the future showrunners, animators, and storyboarders of the world, as well as an animation historian or two. You may dismiss them, but you'll want to marry them 10 or 20 years from now.
Williams Street hoppers= Class clowns. They're the ones making dumb jokes that crack us up every day by spouting lines from last night's Robot Chicken, but won't become THAT successful in life. Maybe a writer or two, tops.
Warner junkies= They love their Tiny Toons, and buy all the DVDs the moment they come out. You get some TMS and Startoons wanks here or there, but more often than not, you'll get some clashes between the Golden-Ages, but don't underestimate them. You may join a board founded by some oneday.;)
Cartoon Network lovers= The weird kids, who come up with fantasy schedules and ideas on how to improve the channel and discuss and debate every new addition to the network. These'll be some of the future channel runners of America, or half of them will end up doing this 10 years later, still never having a date.
DCAU-addicts= Comic book geeks, but still a respectable bunch. Potentially deleted scene in the mix? 20 PAGE TOPIC! Bruce Timm has something to say? ZOMG, HUSH!!! What's this, a new Bat-toon? HERE COMES THE FLAMES!!!! There are plenty of intelligent people in the mix, alongside plenty of overzealous fans, oftentimes both combined into one.
Gatherers= The movie nerds, you know, Gargoyles lovers. They attend The Gathering of the Gargoyles every year and spread their inside jokes around for years to come, as well as blacklist Disney for not putting the rest of season 2 out and for ordering The Goliath Chronicles, and read the new comics 9 times the day they get them. Who cares if the show hasn't been in production in well over a decade? Greg's still working on Spectacular Spider-Man and we just got W.I.T.C.H., so more joy to spread around!
********s= Also preps, the Naruto diehards. You know, the half of the site who still love Sasuke, has forgiven the fillers, and is willing to hope for the best for Shipudden. Then you have the other half who ahte what's been going onto the show after it became all Sasuke, all day, and continue to get in heated debates doing so. You know...
Airheaders= Once again, preps, but for Avatar in general, spilit in two, the Kataangians and the Zutarians. The Kataangians love how they were right, and cheer everyday, while the Zutarians are sad that logic prevailed and drown their sorrows in double-fudge sundays, only adding to their weight problems.
Pokemon trainers= The Poke' nerds, who still buy the games, watch the anime, play the card, and everything. They loved it as a kid, and still wear their Pokemon-themed underwear to this day and sleep in their Pokemon-themed bed and listen to their Pokemon CDs, too.
So, where'd you fit in here? Me, I don't think I could choose any one of these categories specifically, because I seem to fit in a lot of these. In fact, could one of you choose which one I'd fit in best here, then?
