One question, why the computress? If memory serves, she's little more than a one shot character on a show you sentenced to boomerang.
Meanwhile SARA, a character who was last seen in 07, equally holographic, and has an unexplained absence, goes completely ignored.
Who knows, we're not Cartoon Network.

Umm... who's computress again?
She's from "Dexter and Computress Get Mandark", an early episode of Dexter's Lab that was apparently a fan submission from a 5-year old.

Umm... who's computress again?
She's from the Dexter's Lab short "Dexter and Computress Get Mandark!", (http://www.tv.com//dexter-and-computress-get-mandark!/episode/24645/summary.html?q=Computress&tag=search_results;episode_title;1)in which, well, Dexter and Computress try to get Mandark.
They're actually using Computress now? Sold if Dexter repeatedly says "You are stoopid! You are stoopid! And don't forget, you are STOOPID!", etc.

The sad thing is you could change the name and picture and it'd still fit pretty well.

Because Cartoon Network has the theory that in order to capitalize on nostalgia, instead of putting their old shows on iTunes and DVD like Nickelodeon is doing, they need to take one-episode-only characters from their old programming and put them in video games.
Brilliant, right?

I didn't know the Computress from the episode was a girl.
I thought it was Dexter's regular computer program (who has a female voice), that was transferred into a gynoid.
In fact, I'm pretty sure it's that.

Yeah same here. I always thought that Computress did sound like a girls name.

This isn't about the topic too much, but it's about FusionFall and I don't want to make a topic, so here goes.
Who thinks that Flapjack and Chowder will become a part of Fusion Fall??
Most likely. They might have to update or patch the game, but I think there's definitely going to be some mention of either.

Computress is in that game? That was really random.:confused:I’m not sure if she’ll be in the game, but she does “write” the production Blog through her reports back to Dexter (http://www.fusionfall.com/blog/).

"What were they thinking?"I think it’s an awesome idea. I mean, what’s so bad about being able to see Megas (http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n147/The_Huntsman/Cartoons/Megas.gif) while playing the game? I wish Cartoon Network the best of luck and I’m looking forward to trying Fusion Fall out, should my satellite connection be compatible with the service. Latency and all that.

Except megas had his own series that people still talk about. The computress comes from a one shot episode that aired ten years ago.
And if you look at when SARA dissapeared and when this was first planned it matches up alright.

It wouldn’t make sense for them to use Sara in the production Blog because she has no connection to Dexter. At all.

And samurai jack has a connection to megas?
The appeal of the game is it's one big crossover between the most popular shows that's interactive, toonami's been around for twelve years and is still running. Meaning more people get the reference.
Not to mention the fact that it could partially appease the increasingly rabid fans.

What does that have to do with anything? I didn’t see anything “Samurai Jack” related in the Megas picture that I linked towards, unless I missed something. The reason that Sara wouldn’t have worked is because the story involves Dexter; he programmed The Computress to go to Cartoon Network’s offices in order to make sure that progress on Fusion Fall is going according to plan. He couldn’t have possibly used Sara because he has no connection with Sara, so Cartoon Network decided to use somebody that has some connection with him.
If anything, people should see this as a good thing. If the people who are working on the project know enough to include a character who only appeared in one episode, then I’d say that they know their stuff and the game is going to have a ton of nostalgic fan service. That’s going to be awesome. I just hope that the game itself is good enough to keep people interested.

I'm just saying, you have a huge crossover involving decades of unrelated material. You need a blue sentient AI to run the blog.
I think more people have heard of SARA than the computress, or at least recognized her.
And for nostalgic fan service, I've heard literally dozens of people complaining on the ack of SARA from toonami, and she first appeared on a block almost as old as dexters lab.
And as an extra point, SARA said she liked MMO's more than once, why do you think she was the only one who reviewed them.
The world doesn't revolve around Toonami. It's called CARTOON NETWORK UNIVERSE, not TOONAMI AND A FEW CARTOON CARTOONS UNIVERSE.

Though it would be nice if Sara was there, you know, as someone to go to when you need help to understand the game and such. That would be a nice role for her.

plus it would also explain everything about Toonami's and TOM's latest looks.

There's going to be a place called BRAVO Beach and last time I heard, they were trying to figure out how to add Cow and Chicken it.

That implies toonami was in there to begin with. All I'm saying is a long running blue hologram should be there instead of the one that was a one shot character.
And Dexter is already in there.
