This is the talkback thread for "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast" Vol. 5 Coming to DVD (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=25964).

Cool beans. The '99 season contains some of my favorites. I hope that the original "Snatch" ending will be included. The odds of that are .01%, but we can only hope.

What happened with the "Snatch" episode?

What happened with the "Snatch" episode? The original ending, which only aired once, consisted of a colonial man saying that to view the ending to the episode, one must go onto ebay.com and bid on the script.

On al repeat airings, the ending just consists of "THE END", with one of the letters out of place, and it waddles into its correct spot.

Read the transcript of the original ending here: http://snard.com/sg/guide/?ep=70&fmt=0 .

**GAAAAAASP!** Drool~must have...!

As for the original ending to Snatch, I do hope they include it as well, as it was the first appearance of the Colonial Man character, who later would appear in Baffler Meal... and I think some other things as well.

"Oh hello, I didn't see you there, I was busy reading my colonial book. I bet you're wondering what happens to Space Ghost and his fabled gang. Well... I don't know!" Classic.

And speaking of fabled Space Ghost stunts, this one will include the entire 22-minute version of Fire Ant, I'm willing to bet.

Wow, I was skeptical, but we just might see all of SGC2C released on DVD eventually after all!

Original version of Snatch (only broadcast twice) is a must. 22-minute Fire Ant I could live without though.

Remember, when you order this you can get volume 4 for just $5. Glad I waited. :D

Since the page mentions Tenacious D, Willie Nelson and Mommentary, I assume this release covers the rest of the series? Do we actually have COMPLETE Space Ghost Coast to Coast on DVD? Surely they wouldn't leave, what, the last seven episodes of the series off the set.

That would be cool, but I've got a funny feeling they're going to leave off the last 6/7 episodes that were produced exclusively for Adult Swim. I mean, the episode count compared to Volume 4 for one thing, plus you'd think they would have mentioned William Shatner.

But if that is the case, I hope that last volume will contain a ton of bonus stuff, maybe the GameTap episodes, or even the long-awaited release of the episodes left off of Volume 1 (y'know, even if they have to be "tweaked" a little).

Nice, some of my favorite episodes are finally coming to DVD.

Also, I noticed that some of the older AS originals like Birdman and Sealab are available on their site for like $12 each, which is an awesome bargain.

Anyone know how long that sale lasts where you can get SG vol. 4 for $5 if you buy vol. 5 too?

Sweet. That's just about everything I could ask for on this DVD.

Now I'm dying to see just what the original Busta interview looked like. Because if what we saw in Flipmode was any indication, it must have been something.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I didn't even notice, it's a 2-disc set again! :)

That's a smexy list of episodes. I'm still a bit disappointed that they didn't go ahead and throw the rest of the series on there. I'm not paying twelve bucks for episodes I could blow through in a little over an hour.

Still, I'm quite pleased at the episode roster here, and it appears that the original Snatch ending is indeed on there. Well, that clinches it. I'm ordering this.

Well I ordered both Voules 4 & 5 last week (or rather had my friend do it for me) and apparently they tried to deliver it yesterday but "no one was home" and I just find it a bit odd that they couldn't just stick it in a mailbox.

They delivered mine when no one was home.

Anyway, this is the set I've been waiting for ever since they announced Volume One all those years ago. "Snatch?" "Chambragne?" The "Fire Ant" full cut?! I never taped the full "Fire Ant" when it first aired, and have regretted it ever since. Until tonight, that is.

Be warned though: They apparently couldn't get Al Roker to sign for DVD rights. His brief image at the start of "Chambragne" is replaced by George ("Al") Lowe saying the exact same lines.
