Maybe. I wouldn't put it past Cartoon Network studios to make another Scooby DTV or something, since Scooby is one of their hot properties right now, but officially, I haven't heard about any new Scooby Doo project after Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue.

And just so we're clear, a new series and a spnioff are not the same thing. A spinoff is a new series that focuses on 1 or more characters whom were previously seen on a different series.

There is a live-action prequel to the Scooby-Doo movie that shows the characters in high school. That will air on CN sometime in the future.

Jinkies! That's sort of like having the British actor Mark Addy play young Fred Flintstone in 'Viva Rock Vegas.' Lol.

Scooby's a major cash cow for Warner's so I'm sure they'll find even more stuff for him in the future.

CNS has never made a Scooby-Doo series. WB has only ever produced it. The only Scooby project that CNS (or was it H-B before it became CNS) did was Night of the Living Doo back in '01 I think. Either way, both What's New Scooby Doo and Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue are both produced at WB, who sadly own the rights right now. And I don't think they'll produce another Scooby series, seeing as how Joe Barbera and Iwao Takamoto, the last people involved with Scooby, died a couple years back. It's a possibility though, since WB is in a huge slump right now when it comes to producing shows, so Scooby could actually save them. If not, I think WB needs to hand over the rights to Cartoon Network. Ted Turner should've never sold H-B.

I miss the old H-B.

I agree that Turner should've never sold it to Warner Bros.

LOL Its amazing how they thought fans would never care about some thing like this.
I hope they do have another series soon. But I do hope they go back to either the old Scooby-Doo Where Are you? Animation or What's New Scooby-Doo? Animation, I mean I didn't mind Shaggy and Scooby Get a Clue animation but I do miss the old style. I'm also hoping that in the newest Scooby DVD film that they have the old Scooby-Doo Where Are you? Theme song. I mean HB did die it would be nice if they did that for him and throw in little things from the past shows. I figure that's why they have the headless Horsemen in it, that was from a past series.

Yeah. I wonder about that too. I hear that there is a new one coming up called 'Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King.' That's supposed to come out some time in September. I don't know much more about it, but I'm hoping Casey Kasem will return to voice Shaggy. They could even bring back Nicole Jaffe and Heather North like they did for 'The Legend of the Vampire' and 'The Monster of Mexico,' but if not, I'm okay with Mindy Cohn and Grey DeLisle. I also wonder if the characters will go back to their old wardrobes. I notice they did that recently in Scooby-Doo comics. I might want to research this a little more.

I've been counting down for Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King, I love Scooby films that deal with real monsters and this is one of those films. Only I think Fred/Daphny/Velma have a small rol, they get turned into real monsters as does the entire world. Shaggy and Scooby are on there own and they have to defeat the Goblin King, there's been previews of it online and it looks good :)
The voice of Shaggy, Casey has been doing Shaggy's voice in the Direct to DVD films for a while now and does sound like his voice in the newer film. So I'm sure you'll be happy about this :)
It does look like Daphny goes back to her old dress, Shaggy of course has been dressed green forever. Velma hasn't changed, it'd be nice if Fred went back to his old self, I'll have to check the preview agian to see what Freds outfit looks like.

I checked it out on wikipedia and it seems like Casey, Mindy and Grey will return for this film. About Fred, I don't know. It does seem like he's gotten dumber since after 'A Pup Named Scooby-Doo' but we'll see. Where did you see this preview? I might want to check it out when I get a chance.

The only thing I've seen so far about it is this trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9R6LiHcuck

I'm not sure how I feel about it, may have to wait until I read a few reviews or give in and buy the DVD. But this is the only Scooby Doo project I know is coming out right now.

Yah the Fred in What's New Scooby-Doo? Seems more like the Fred from A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. I mean he jumps to conclusions of people and some times doesn't know things that well, its funny a lot of the times though. And yah I get trailers from the place the person above me posted, but I don't think where allowed to post those links here. Maybe I'm wrong. But yah the film looks pretty good, also I think you can get the trailers from the WB website.

I got it. Thanks, Elven.

Anyway, about Fred, maybe the change was made because they thought the original Fred was too dull and serious. Just a thought that crossed my mind.

Anyway, after checking out the preview it does look like the characters are dressed in their newer attire from 'What's New Scooby-Doo.' Still it looks like a good movie. I'm looking forward to when it comes out.

Scooby should not be in live action. That's why the movies sucked.

Meh I just found Fred to be too bossy, don't know about dull. But he did get more funny in the new show and has stayed the same in the newer films. But at the same time I do miss the old Fred
Glad the new film looks fun to you, same here. Guess I thought some looked the same as the past, but my eyes probaly missed it than.
