I was just thinking. There are old dubs of anime, mostly old anime movies, that have been released as cheap budget childrens DVDs. of course, they are all dub only and probably all VHS quality or worse. The only one that comes to mind immediatly is The Little Mermaid, but it's kinda hard to tell it apart from the other dozens of versions of that story that are available. My question is, does anyone know of other movies like this that are available? And, if possible, links to amazon or other sites that sell them?

While I was inspired to make this thread by Dubs that Time Forgot, I don't think it belongs in that thread.

Panda and the Magic Serpent.

Exactly the kinda thing I'm looking for. I know some Kimba stuff is available from either them or a similar company, but since there's a boxset, that's less important.

But wow, the first color anime feature, and it's in $.99 bins. Thats sad for someone who wants to be an anime historian.

And I guess I should have been more specific, I'm not just trying to find cheap anime, I'm also trying to find OLD anime. and really, if anyone knows any good movies or OVAs that are on VHS but not DVD, and can be found somewhere like Amazon, let me know.
