View Full Version : What Time Do You Wake Up?

The Cartoon

Hey guys, I was wondering what time all of you wake up. I ask because I've been waking up from 5-6 for about a year now. Most teenagers my age sleep in until 10 on weekends. I don't know if I can't sleep in because I'm an early riser, if my bed is too uncomtorfable, or if there is another reason. Your thoughts?

7:30 on weekdays, 8-8:30 on weekends.

I try to sleep late on weekends, but I'm never able to.

I wake up at 5:30am during the school year [sometimes 6] and then on the weekends I usually sleep late till about 9 or 1030 . [I'm up now because my mother is really loud >_<]

5:50-7:30 on weekdays(depending on if my alarm clock wakes me up)
And as late as possible on weekends. Usually 9-11.

Usually anywhere from 7:00 to 9:30, depending on what time my baby brother decides to wake up. Sometimes he'll fall back asleep, though, and I'll get another hour or two of sleep. But I generally try to sleep in as late as possible.

As of late, I've been getting up between 5 and 6 in the morning. But that's because of school, more than likely. I usually don't get up on the weekends until about 9, but circumstances keep getting me up earlier.

Sheesh, you guys are early birds.

Me, I wake up at 6AM on school days (bleck) and around 9 or so on other days.

I wake up around 7am or 9am on days I have class, it depends what my earliest class is for the day. On the weekends, I tend to sleep in till 11am or 12pm, or in rare cases 2pm like today...

Usually a little before 8 AM on weekdays (gotta love work), and usually 8:30-9 AM on weekends.

I try to sleep late on weekends, but I'm never able to. Don't you hate that? Darn internal clock.

From five to eight, depending on what classes I have that morning. I use an alarm clock, but my body's getting so used to it that I'm starting to wake up several minutes before the alarm clock on each day.

As for weekend, I wake up anywhere from 10 to 2. Yes, 2.

Depends. Lately I've been going to bed at 9pm and waking at 4:30 in the morning.

I guess it hinges on what my schedule for the week is.

As for weekend, I wake up anywhere from 10 to 2. Yes, 2.

Same!

I think the latest I've ever slept is 3 pm, a total of 12 hours. And it hurt.

I guess a normal day for me is 2 am to 10 am, but it can get out of control easily, which is why I don't do well when I'm on vacation and don't have work or school to keep me on schedule. It actually gets depressing, because it feels like 24-hour night.

And I've learned a new trick where I can go to bed at 2, wake up at 6 to walk the dogs, then go back to bed and still wake up at 10 (although it can backfire and I'll wake up at 2 pm).

And it's so much worse in the winter when there'd be about 1 or 2 hours of daylight left, lol.

I usually wake up between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM. From the looks of things, I go to sleep after most of you wake up.

I'm a night owl. I usually go to bed around 2AM, then get up around 9:30-10. I'm just not a morning person at all, and I have a lot of trouble getting up any earlier than, say 8:30-9. I don't know how I ever made it through 13 years of school getting up as early as I did. :D

I'm not a moring person. I got up at 2:15P.M. today. If I don't have work, I usually get up around noon.

I used to go to sleep at around 8:30am and don't wake till about 4 or even 5pm.

Of course, this is with my tendency of being a night owl, summer laziness, and I guess insomnia. The only way I fixed it was staying up 40+ hours, and my body would just reset itself.

Now I just go to bed at 3-4am and wake up at 10am.

Well this semester depends on the days.

Tuesday and Thursday I have a 9:50 class so I usually get up at 8.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday I work so I am up at 7 to be at work by 8:30.
And on days when I don't have to do anything until a bit later I'm usually up between 9 and 10 depending on how late I went to bed the previous night.

And in case you are wondering, yes I am very fast getting ready.

I usually go to bed around 1 or 2 am. Then I get up from 9 to 10:30 am. Usually I get up 8 or 9 hours after I go to sleep, I've been trying to get to bed earlier because I hate wasting daylight. My work schedule isn't ever that bad though because usually the earliest I have to get up is around 7 (but that's rare) and the very worst was this past tuesday when I had to work from 2 am to noon..... fun stuff. I start college up in the spring so I will be able to get a better sleep schedule worked out by then I guess lol.

On days that my dad works I set my alarm for 7:30 and hit the snooze button until 8. On days he's off I tend to stay in bed until 9. I'm currently unemployed, and prefer to let my parents have run of the house most mornings. When I was working I got up at 6:30 on weekdays and 9 or 10 on weekends.

It depends.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have class at 9:15 am, so I get up at 8:30 am. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have class at 9:45 am, so I get up at 9 am. During the week, I'm usually in bed around 1:30 or 2 am. On the weekends, I usually get up anywhere between 10am and 1 pm; it depends on how tired I am and how late I went to bed the night before. Weekends I tend to go to bed around 2 or 2:30 am.

EDIT: It also depends on whether the person in the room next to mine is playing music really loud before I want to get up. Ugh, I was not happy this morning.

Weekday, for this semester, I aim for 7:30 on my earliest class day, 8:30 on my second earliest day, 10:30 on my late days and weekends. If it was summer I wouldn't have gotten up until noon.

On top of my getting up around 8am, my two-year-old sister doesn't usually go to sleep until somewhere between midnight and 2:30 am. Plus, my baby brother usually wakes up at least once during the night for a bottle, so I only sleep in (at best) three-four hour increments. Sometimes I get lucky, though.

Used to be a complete night owl -- 5 am bedtimes, woke up at noon, one in the afternoon.

Now I got a job and a spiffy commute, so up at 6 AM to dress, do makeup, and wrap my feet (stupid heels). From there, 7:15 sign-in at the office. I usually get to bed between 10 and 12 at night. I'm a night owl, so I "wake up" when it's pitch black out -- not good when you need sleep.

Weekends depend. Saturday is my day to sleep in. Sunday mass at 8 am means I get up at 7:30ish since I don't have to eat breakfast. Granted, after this first week of work, I went back to sleep at about 10 am and woke up at 1 pm. Sleeepy.

6AM on weekdays, 7-8:30AM on Saturdays, and 8AM on Sundays.

I only sleep late during vacations or days off.

I'm pretty much a morning bird. On weekdays, I usually wake up around 6:30am or around 7:00 to 7:30am, depending on if I have classes that day. On Saturdays, I also wake up around 7:00 to 7:30am. Sundays are my sleep in days, so I usually wake up around either 8:00 to 9:30am at the lastest. I actually like being a morning person since it usually doesn't take me too long to wake up and I like getting an early start to the day anyway.

That's me during job-less summer vacations. However, once the school year begins I go to sleep at 1:30am (which is when Conan O' Brien is over) and then I wake up at 7am to get ready for class. And on weekends I usually sleep till about noon.

I can't sleep in. During summer, I would wake up at about 7:30 or 8. Now that I'm in college I've been waking up at about 7am. even on weekends, I can't sleep past 8:30. And once morning swim practice starts, I'll be waking up at 4:45am on M/W/F. O.O
