While I'd love to see these disks get the same kind of lavish treatment that WB is heaping on their DC Universe releases, I'm happy these Marvel Animated Features aren't completely barebones.

The 'Legacy' featurette is adequate. I had to do a double take when Frank Paur popped up. Kinda looked like they used him as an inspiration for this films version of the Hulk. (No disrespect intended). (EDIT: or did he pop up in one of the Hulk previews? Eh doesn't matter.)

The 'Kid Power' featurette was also adequate and approproiate in context with the film. However I would have liked a more focus on the 'Young Avengers' title and 'Runaways.' I know that Kyle and Yost wrote for New X-Men but this disk is an Avengers release.

The two Hulk vs. previews are awesome, just awesome! I'll leave it at that.

These releases are getting worse and worse. They only seem to concentrate on fluff pieces which is a shame, most of the crew usually have interesting things to say, but 10 minutes between them isn't enough time.

For Hulk Vs, I hope they give them a full feature length commentary. Anyone who's read any of the interviews with Frank Paur about his work on these DTVs know about his passion for them - this would make for a hell of a commentary.

Just Netflix'd the Blu-Ray (sorry finances are scarce as my workload was near nil during the summer and they collectors are a'calling or else I would've purcahsed it) and as far as picture quality and sound, I thought it was pretty good. The special features are lackluster for the most part. My biggest complaint is the trailers in front of the Movie without being able to bypass them directly into the movie. This is a Blu-Ray blast it, not a dvd!

Ah, a note to the thread starter, like other DVD thread talkbacks, I skipped this over this one becuase I was looking for the Blu-Ray thread, and the title only mentioned DVD. I'm also curious on how the digital download looked and sounded (because I was dissapointed with the quality of Superman Doomsday on XBox Live marketplace).

Please note the thread title has been altered to include the term "Blu-ray" in the title. We are currently working on a way to reference a multi-format release in the thread title, and the above alteration is only temporary, but, if another method can not be found, will be made the permanent for all talkbacks. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to PM or email me.

What's the need for something other than DVD/Blu-Ray? If you're concerned about downloaded media, I can't imagine it would include features not found on the DVD or Blu-Ray versions.

None of these Marvel/Lionsgate DVD's have had easter eggs, correct ? It would have been nice to see the Next Avengers trailer included
