You have one man who belongs on Earth and another who feels like he never quite belongs. One man who pulls further and further from people, and another who just wants to be considered one of them. What are your views on this particular difference between Batman and Superman? How does it define each character, and do you, or do you not like it?

When you say that one belongs on Earth and the other feels like he never quite belongs, I'm not exactly sure which one is which. Sure, Batman (being human) belongs on Earth, and Superman physically belongs on another planet. But, it almost seems like Superman is supposed to be on Earth helping the people of the world. While Batman, like you said, pulls further and further from people (at least, I assume you meant Batman for that comment). At times the differences between Superman and Batman seem to interchange to me. Batman seems much more alienated to me than Superman will ever be. It makes Batman seem darker, and Superman seem more like everyone's friend, which is what I think they were trying for. Yeah, I like it.
