These Metalocolaypse reruns on Saturdays are making me fall in love with the show all over again. The diet episode was too funny.

We need Futurama back STAT!

Looks like the infusion of comedy really kicked up the ratings, huh AS?
Well, let's see, it took only one week of bad ratings for them to destroy one of the most consistantly performing line-ups Saturdays had had since losing Futurama, two weeks to trash the next line-up when it didn't get much better, but now we've got COMEDY added to the start of the night and the ratings are as bad as ever with the comedy a no show. So, how long does everyone think this line-up will last when the top show continues to get below 300k? My guess is a couple of months at least. Maybe they'll shift comedies or move Shin Chan back, but all anime isn't going to come back, not for a long time-if ever. I can almost guarantee it. Oh, those brilliant minds at AS, I'm beginning to wonder if they even want Saturdays to do well.
Also, as for Moribito, it's impossible to succeed when you're given no chance to.

Of course they want Saturdays to succeed, but it's not going to happen. AS and the viewers just need to accept that. The fact is that Futurama was only reason Saturdays were ever successful.
Bleach was their biggest acqusition and highest performing show after they lost Futurama, but lately it's been underperforming. I don't think AS is really to blame for that. The way AS advertised it it seemed like it was going to be some sort of supernatural action series about a guy fighting hideous monsters with a big sword. But I think the viewers eventually realized that they were mislead. Bleach is actually pretty boring.
If AS wants anime to succeed, two things need to be done. First, anime no longer needs to premier on Saturday. And secondly, AS needs to stop acquiring all these supposed action shows because with most of them there's not a lot of emphasis on action.
Dear [adult swim],
PUT FAMILY GUY ON SATURDAYS
That is all.

Compared to Moribito, Bleach is nonstop action. You're right about Saturdays. Family Guy could fix it, but that could potentially undervalue it for other time slots, which would be bad.

I mean, at long last, someone gets the real problem here.
Moribito should never have aired. It airing just shows how dumb the AS action acquisition team is. I would not be surprised if its ratings were 100,000. But then again, your Ikkitousens are too dumb for the block, it's better to have shows that make you think while you avoid them.[/sarcasm]
On Sunday, Venture finale not making the Top 3 makes me sad, but at the same time, it makes me realize that besides the Seths, Adult Swim is still very obscure in the grand scheme of things.

THE SATURDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE WILL RESUME THE WAY IT IS.
Superjail will premiere September 28th as planned.
New Shin Chan will end October 18th.
Look Around You premieres October 26th at 1am, so DarkPlace must have done really well at that slot.
November 2nd at midnight: Young Person's Guide To History
New Moral Orel season: Thursdays at 12:15am starting October 9th
New Family Guy will resume October 13th at 11:30pm
American Dad will premiere all the way through December.
Robot Chicken Star Wars Special 2 will air November 16.
Drinky Crow will premiere November 23rd.
EDIT: I forgot to point out that Robot Chicken Season 4 will premiere December 7th.

You also forgot to point out that apparently Code Geass is going to run straight through R2 without a break.
I still don't like the random, haphazard way they're airing Morel Orel season 3. It feels like they've washed their hands with the show and just burning off the last episodes to get things over with. Also, Look Around You better get a run on the Fix.

My thoughts on schedule
-So Guide to History is nto a series, and it looks like Xavier has been cancelled since it isn't on the Fall Schedule and wasn't mentioned at Dragon*Con
-Shin Chan ends at ep #52. My guess is that it'll resume in January and air 26 eps next year
-Look Around You should do well enough to put The Mighty Boosh in the slot, but not good enough to get a U.S. fanbase
-I hate premires on weekdays, especialyl with Weekend ratings tanking. Both series really should be airing on Sunday. Also, I don't get why [AS] is burning off Moral Orel. We know it's ending, but it was pretty well rated and is costlier (heh, costlier) than most of [AS] originals, and it's rewarded by airing 2 new episodes a week on random weekdays.
-I haven't checked, but American Dad probably should get into the 08-09 season before 2009, so no mroe weekly "new" American Dad
-I have a bad feeling about Star Wars Special 2. The first one wasn't too good, and they've used up most of the good gags already..
-I absolutely love Drinky Crow, so i'm happy that it's airing earlier.
-I figured RC would premire Season 4 in January, but whatever
Xavier canned? I'm honestly surprised. That seemed like the kind of show right up AS's alley to air for a long while.
Morel washed away. Another surprise. How bad were the ratings?
October 13th- AS ratings skyrocket.

I can't access the internet from my computer for now, so I'm using my Wii (too slooooow!). Hope to get back to normal soon.
Shin Chan
Shin: Bad pitch, my hand's turned against me again. What do you want, hand? Why can't we be happy together?
Bleach
Tessai: WOULD YOU TWO KEEP IT DOWN?! WE HAVE INJURED PEOPLE TRYING TO REST AND THEY NEED SOME PEACE AND QUIET!!!
Code Geass
Cornelia: Discrimination against the numbers is our national policy.
Euphemia: Then it's time I tried to change that.
Cornelia: Oh is it now, Sub-Viceroy? Well when you become Empress, feel free to do so!
Morobito
Balsa: Come on, you're dead on your feet. I'll carry you piggyback. Chagum, hurry up and jump on.
Chagum: Explain yourself, what is piggyback?
Balsa: Piggyback means to carry someone on your back. It may seem odd to you, but if you were born a normal kid, it's the way your mother would've carried you for the first few years of your life. You don't have to be shy about being carried, Chagum. It's a regular part of every kid's childhood. Hop on.
