It's funny how movies being on TV cause me to watch my own version- I started watching it until I realized I own the film on DVD and I was like- what the hell am I doing? :)

I watched it on NBC once, and I was surprised they didn't cut anything (even the...ugh...butt shots). I wonde rif UPN will do the same.

Wow..UPN showing a movie of their disputed enemy's. (WB)

UPN cut the butt shots! Oh no! :rolleyes:

Well, that might be the one thing better about the UPN version than my DVD... ;)

my god, batman forever and batman and robing sucked soooo bad. whenever i catch it one tv i stop for a while then quickly realize that they are horrible.

That original cut of Batman Forever sounded pretty good (the Thomas Wayne diary loose end always pissed me off). But even with cuts, Batman Forever is way better than Batman & Robin.

Yeah, if BATMAN FOREVER was filmed like it was originally scripted - as seen in the novelization - it would have been a great film, just as the first two Bat-films.

BATMAN & ROBIN was flawed from the very start. Nothing could help that movie aside from a complete overhaul and a quick bullet to the director's head.

I do recall that NBC had some tiny cuts of half-sentences at various points. One example...

TWO-FACE: "...I'll see you in hell."

ROBIN: "I'd rather see you in jail."

TWO-FACE: "Good boy, good boy - the Bat has taught you very well. You're noble. Stupid -"

And it cuts off, leaving off "but noble", and it just sounds WEIRD now.

Ah well.

Hmm... I mostly don't like the last 2 films because if you compare the villians from the last two live-action movies to for example to B:TAS the villians in B:TAS are more intellegint and not as crazy unless they're meant to be crazy. You can definitely see that in Batman Forever Two-Face & Joker vs. B:TAS Two-Face & Joker.
