Excellent so far, lots of Cartoons I haven't seen like 'Duck,Rabbit,Duck!' 'The Dot And The Line' and 'Bugs Bunny And The Three Bears'

I can't wait till this comes to the UK on Sunday but I think it's only 7 hours here.

That's the time-compressed version on "Fast and Furry-ous"?

Yes, "Fast and Furry-ous" was the time compressed version.

In case you were wondering how Boomerang could squeeze 8 cartoons per hour, the reason is that Boomerang currently doesn't have any commercials (except for promos for Cartoon Network and Boomerang programs). During this marathon they would air 4 cartoons, then show a couple Boomerang promos and then air another 4 cartoons...

Well, it's nice to know they didn't air anything rare.

No commercials? Boomerang must make its money off of CN.

Luck! No commercial breaks like VRAK.TV. It's probaly more a channel for kids.

In my opinion they should have replaced one of his Tom and Jerry's (Though I don't not like them) with Dripalong Daffy, one of his greats.

And I have a copy of Sniffles And The Bookworm WITH full titles.

Does anyone else think that they should have shown a particular Jones short?

They could've shown a few more Road Runners, and some more of his earlier work.

At least they didn't play a Robert McKimson directed short, like the CN idiots did during one of the early episodes of the uninspired and disgraceful "Chuck Jones Show".

It sounded pretty good, but they should've shown some of Jones' B&W work like "Porky's Cafe" or "Joe Glow the Firefly." And they could've gotten away with showing just one or two Private Snafu cartoons by Chuck.

Boomerang UK are showing ADVERTS,and I've seen a DEPATIE-FRELENG Road Runner-all in the space of the first hour!

Managed to squeeze in things like 'What's Opera Doc?' 'One Froggy Evening' and 'Duck Dodgers In The 24th and a half century' so far, along with 'Bugs Bonnets' 'Case Of The Missing Hare' and 'To Beep Or Not To Beep'

Just starting 'Bully For Bugs' now. To me it just feels like 14 episodes of The Chuck Jones Show.

Just to keep you updated-

Boomerang seems to be making up for this mullarkey by showing 'House Hunting Mice' with aap logo! (Very rare in the UK-Detouring America and A Star Is Hatched don't have it) and 'A Feather In His Hare'!

However, another 2 non Jones Road Runners have been shown. Currently showing 'Rabbit's Feat'

That really would feel like the old "Chuck Jones Show".

It looks like no one showed anything rare.

And to finish off the night Boomerang UK are showing The Phantom Tollbooth,an MGM film directed by Chuck.

The final checklist for the UK-

All Chuck Jones WB cartoons except

7 Depatie-Freleng Road Runners (WB)

3 Tom and Jerry's (MGM Sib Tower 12)

1 Robert Mckimson (WB)

First Cartoon- 'What's Opera Doc?'
Last Cartoon- 'Water,Water,Every Hare'

And 'There they go-go-go!' was played twice. Recorded them all except missed the first 2 minutes of 'Dripalong Daffy'-I needed a toilet break after 4 hours!

Shame they didn't show The Dot and The Line though. And the 'Hunters Trilogy' was completly messed up,airing it like this- 'Rabbit Seasoning' 'Rabbit Fire' 'Duck,Rabbit,Duck' with long spaces in between! They did however show 'The Dover Boys'.
