By Bill Banks

This Thursday night, TNA Wrestling returns to Spike at 9pm ET with two hours of Total Nonstop Action, featuring the aftermath from Sunday's "Hard Justice" Pay-Per-View event!

The following is scheduled for the huge broadcast:

- There are two BIG questions coming out of "Hard Justice" - how did TNA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe get ahold the familiar guitar he used to beat Booker T...and why did Sting attack "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles? Will both questions be answered this Thursday night on Spike? Tune in and find out!

- Speaking of Samoa Joe, he will team with "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash on "iMPACT!" to battle Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) in one of the major bouts on the broadcast!

- Sources tell us that Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle will have a special challenge for "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles this Thursday night! After their epic battle at "Hard Justice', what does Angle have planned - and what is his condition after the war with AJ?

- "iMPACT!" will also feature an update on the condition of LAX's Homicide, who was badly injured at the hands of new TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money at Sunday's PPV. This Thursday night, Hernandez of LAX will take on Beer Money's "Cowboy" James Storm in singles action.

- In tag team action, it will be "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage and "The War Machine" Rhino taking on The Rock N' Rave Infection of Lance Rock and Jimmy Rave

- Also on the broadcast, TNA Knockout Women's Champion Taylor Wilde will battle Christy Hemme

- The latest installment of "Karen's Angle" will feature The Beautiful People - Angelina Love and Velvet Sky

- "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan will be in action

- Plus, "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal has been signed to take on TNA newcomer Sheik Abdul Bashir

All this and much more this Thursday night on Spike on the huge post-PPV "iMPACT!" broadcast!

Man, iMPACT! was actually great this week.

First of all, I think Shiek Abdul Bashir is a great heel character for TNA. I don't remember anyone else getting that much heat in the iMPACT! zone aside from Jeff Jarrett a couple years ago. Plus, I loved the spike finish. Man that was brutal. I kind of wish the WMB was more than a simple DDT though.

The knockouts didn't do too bad this week either. Christy's not terrible in the ring(aside from that botched bulldog..ouch) and both her and Taylor were very nice to look at. The street fight next week between Gail and Kong should be awesome as long as TNA doesn't overbook it.

I'm also enjoying the LAX/Beer Money feud. Hernandez did great this week, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a decent singles career in the future.

And I actually liked the main event. Most people will probably complain because of the whole staged amateur wrestling setup but I thought it worked. Not to mention I completely marked out when Jarrett's music played for the first time in ages. And now A.J. Styles is an Olympic Gold Medalist. Awesome.

Aside from those points, everything else was around average. The only main problem I had was that they're actually continuing the fued between Lethal and Dutt. It's obvious that no one gives a crap anymore, and it amazes me how long this soap opera's been drawn out. Just end it already.

Now we can only hope TNA will pull a miracle and deliver a great show two weeks in a row.

I actually went to Hard Justice. I thought was pretty good, outside of the Lethal-Dutt match going a little too long, and the Joe-Booker match being a little too short. It was pretty fun. I might consider going to their NYC show in September.

:anime: No Super Eric this week!

Kip James seems to have turned into his former manager/stylist Rico Constantino. I like it. It works for him.

Hernandez actually talked. Not bad, for his character at least.

During Taylor Wilde vs. Christy Hemme, I think I saw quick flash that said "WHO IS [something]" Did anybody else see that, or was it just me?

I agree with Kurt Angle though, that the first week of the Olympics should be remembered as Kurt Angle Week. Above average show tonight(wish Jeff Jarrett would actually come out though).

Kurt Angle, please pick up the white courtesy phone. Your career is over.

This is not the first time he's done a storyline revolving around his Olympic medal. Does anyone not remember his feud with Chris Benoit a few years back? Or the insipid Angle Invitational (Bum of the Week club matches that introduced us to Matt Striker) that resulted in Eugene winning the medal? It's clear that Kurt's dignity is long gone, and his association with washed up scribbler Vince Russo is not doing him any favors.

That association is not doing Karen any favors, either. Her interview sucked. Again. After trying unsuccessfully to leech heat off Awesome Kong by associating her with the High School Drama Queens (Beautiful People), Russo now saddles Angelina Love & Velvet Sky with another past-his-prime talent in Kip James, who had his old Mr. Ass shorts on. Sorry, girls, but you just became last month's news.

Russo just can't seem to leave Samoa Joe well enough alone, either. Joe & Nash lose via reverse decision DQ because Russo decided to have Joe go postal after choking out Devon. Stupid.

The less said about Abdul Bashir, the better. At least we know Shawn Daivari spent a ton of time in the tanning booth. HATED the finish. Absolutely hated it.

There was a 6-man involving the Prince Justice Brotherhood, but it may have either been edited off the show or taped for Xplosion, which few of us get.

Matt Morgan & Abyss. Future tag team champions. Trust me.

Christy Hemme vs. Taylor Wilde was just B. R. Utal. Way too sloppy.

And to think Rock & Rave was in the curtain jerker, losing to Cage & Rhino. It's clear Christy isn't getting enough time in the ring, because her skills have eroded. She's got a real band on the side, so why not have them appear on the show, so Christy can show she can really belt it out!

It wouldn't kill the gimmick, but improve it instead, IMPO.

I can't believe some of you guys are excited for the return of Jarrett. I'll never forgive him for the absolute garbage he put us through in 2005/6, and even if I could, the guy never belonged in the main event in the first place. He's average talent at best.

"El Kabong" lives, and with what's going on with Sting, he's needed more than ever.

"That's J-E-Double F J-A-Double R-E-Double T. Double J, Jeff Jarrett."
