Please help (and excuse) a newbie for hunting around and trying to find an answer to a Warner Bros. question. I'm looking for the a scene in an old Loony Tune where a character is "hooked" off a theater stage with a cane (a vaudeville gag). Does anyone remember the 'toon, character or title?. Thanks!

I know which one you are talking about but the name escapes me for a moment...

It stars Egghead as the gentleman in a talent show contest in which every now and then he comes out and sing "She'll Be Commin' Around the Mountain".

This is a very funny toon.

To build on Feslmogh's post, the title is Hamateur Night. It features many different people performing on a stage, and Egghead is one of them. I am pretty sure that this is the one that you are refferring to.
