I hope it's as good as it looks. To me Roots was slow and didn't have Sign's characterization to back it up, but you can't drag your feet in a movie. The trailer motivated me to want to watch it in spite of myself.

Having seen it, it was as good as 1 hour and 30 minute adaptation of 3 20 hour games. :shrug: It was just action, fan service and a abridged plot. The games had explained things better and stuff. The action was good though. Good to know it's coming over here, though.

Wonder which cast they'll use...the Roots voice cast or the games

I wish it was animated, but I'll be damned if it don't look good. GU is what got me into .Hack in the first place, so I'll be getting it.

I heard it was not very well done but really I don't think I will be playing the games anytime soon so I guess I will be checking it out.

Finally, now I just need to know if the 27th episode of roots will be on the dvd, which cast will be used, and when is it going to be released.
