What matches do we know of so far?

World Title Match:
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Triple H

I'm picking Triple H cause he sleeps with Vince's daughter and has made his grand return. What better way to make his return than to win the title at Wrestlemania? I would never bet money on wrestling, but this might be the time to do so.

The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan
This will be the worst match ever. They have five moves between them. The Rock is a younger version of Hogan. This will come off really badly. I'm going to pick the Rock for many reasons. This will give the nWo a reason to be angry and invade and spread the poison by getting new members.

Scott Hall vs. Steve Austin

This match will suck. I doubt Hall has enough in his gas tank or cares enough to put on a good match. The match will go to Austin and be the first nWo lose of the night and the bleeding won't stop there.

World Tag Team Championship:
Billy and Chuck (c) vs. The APA

I hate Billy and Chucky but something tells me they will pull it out.

IC title match:
William Regal (c) vs. Rob Van Dam

Regal sucks and Van Dam's the best wrestler in the company. I think this will be the start of a legend in the WWF with RVD winning.

What else is there? Thoughts and predictions?

A couple of good picks there but here are mine.

World Title: Winner HHH - he's just that dang good, plus it's about time Jericho got kicked around and whinned for a while

Rock vs Hogan: Hard to say but I would really like to see Hollywood pull this one out w/o the help of the nWo - then again I see the nWo ganging up on the "Great One"
Winner: Hogan, when the ref doesn't see the Rock getting beaten to a bloody pulp outside of the ring

Hall vs Austin: Hall - I don't know why I just have a feeling he'll find a way to make his comeback mean something

World Tag Team: could care less, wish that the Hardy's would get the titles back but - I think Slipknot is right on this one - no one cares for the team of Bill and Chuck so of course they'll win

IC Title - RVD all the way - if RVD doesn't win this belt at the end of the night someone better start investigating the WWF becuz it means there's a scandal bigger than the size of Enron in the WWF

Ric Flair vs. The Undertaker

Folk's Undertaker isn't Sting. This isn't the 80's. It's not Clash of the Champions, it's Wrestlemania. I don't see Ric Flair having a good match. When is the last time Undertaker had a good match? I hope this match doesn't happen. It will be slightly above the Rock/Hogan match in the quality department.

There should be no way Regal beats RVD. The only reason Regal is in the WWF is because of his friendship with Austin. That's also the reason he is being pushed. Regal is horrible. He was born 20 year's too late. He might have been good in the 80's with the horsemen, but today he is just a jobber. He's not even that great of a wrestler.

I agree- alot of the "big" matchups will suck big time.

Rock/Hogan, Austin/Scott Hall and Undertaker/Flair will all suck, good only for the historical signifigance.

The only match I really want to see is HHH vs. Jericho. thegame reclaims the title! Whoo! :)

another match that it looks like they'll add is golddust vs. maven for the hardcore belt..these two put on a half decent match on smackdown! so maybe they could pull off a really good one at wrestlemania..btw-this is only going on my guess after what happened on smackdown!

i also think that either the week before or at wrestlemania we're going to see the big show and or x pac show up and reunite with the nwo...they'll probably play some kind of part in helping out at wrestlemania..

who does everyone think nash will face if he does wrestle at all on the card??

World Title Match:
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Triple H

The WWF screwed up Jericho's "reign" by never really making him a factor in anything since he won the belts (and lets face it, once WCW was put to sleep at the "climax" {read: mercy killing} of the ECW/WCW Invasion angle at Survivor Series and the WCW belt was renamed "The World Title", the unification match was just pointless), and Triple H has been overexposed as a character ever since his matches with Foley got such critical acclaim two years ago, so basically I am not interested in this match. I do hope Jericho wins it because I really don't buy Trips as a top face, but I guess The Game just plays the politics well.

Winner: Triple H

The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan

This will only be watchable if Pat Patterson scripts this thing out more carefully then he did with Warrior/Hogan at WM6. I am assuming Rock wins, but I wouldn't rule out Hogan winning ala Nash and Hall outside inteference.

Winner: Not sure

Scott Hall vs. Steve Austin

This match won't be so bad. Hall sold the stunner pretty good, and Austin has been great on a regular basis since the first of 2001 a year ago. I say it will be pretty good assuming Hall isn't drunk out of his skull.

Winner: Austin

World Tag Team Championship:
Billy and Chuck (c) vs. The APA

I don't get why I am supposed to boo Billy and Chuck because they act like homesexuals. This gimmick is insulting to my intelligence, and the APA are beyond stale, so I am not interested in this match. I am betting APA pulls it out so they can job the belts to Hall and Nash later on.

Winners: APA

IC title match:
William Regal (c) vs. Rob Van Dam

I guess its RVD's time in the spotlight. Lets just hope they don't screw his reign over like they did Edge.

Winner: RVD

Undertaker vs. Ric Flair

Why they didn't just put Angle in Taker's place in this feud is beyond me. I mean Angle/Flair would at lest have a chance at being good. Flair/UT is going to be the worst match in Wrestlemania history, bar none.

Winner: Undertaker, of course. :rolleyes:

Angle vs. Kane

Again, why they didn't do Angle/Flair instead of junk like this is beyond me.

Winner: Kane
