I'm not quite sure what you're saying. The employees tell you this or customers or... huh?

Why would the customers ask you to pick up a girly game? And what's wrong with a girly game?

i don't know some parents might be againest girls playing games they think are for guys (like gta halo cod4)

I don't see why. There's no reason for one customer to bother another about that, plus whenever I do see a girl buying a "guy" game in GS they are either with their boyfriend or not, and parents are too busy dealing with their own kids to bother other customers.

And if anyone does question what you're buying, ignore them and buy it anyway.

Unless the customers know you personally, I doubt they'll care which games you're getting.

Girly games are crap. Barbie Horse Adventure is bad, the Olsen games caused the destruction of Acclaim. That and Turok Evolution.

i don't understand why you'd be afraid. you do have the option to smile at them and explain to them that you don't buy garbage

Why any mother with her daughter at a Gamestop would tell other customers what to buy baffles me to no end.

The only time I've ever seen one customer ever say something to an unrelated customer about video games was the two times I had to argue to idiotic parents that the PS2 can play PS1 games and not vice-versa.

Otherwise, customers know when to mind their own business, and you're just being overly paranoid. Really, you're nearly 24 years old, they know you wouldn't want to play Hannah Montana or Barbie's Mermaid Fashion Horse Adventure games.
