Camp Rock was just the beginning for Miss Lovato. She's gonna star in her own Disney TV series. It's called Welcome to Mollywood (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1252374/). Here's the plot:


Molly has won some sort of talent search for an upcoming television series and becomes the star.
"Welcome to Mollywood" is basically a show focusing on what Molly goes through during the process.

Sounds like Disney is getting ready for life AFTER Hannah Montana. That's if all this talk of the show ending is true.

But these Disney chicks are fugly for the most part. Miley Cyrus is VERY ugly. I can't believe her face is on everything these days. Emily Osment looks WAY too much liker her brother. It's creepy. Ashley Tisdale looks like a goof-ball. Demi Lovato needs to fix her teeth. etc. The ONLY decent girls are Selena Gomez, that Adrienne chick from Cheetah Girls, and Vanessa Hudgens. Oh, and I have a soft spot for that red-headed chick on Raven.

I think the girls on Disney Channel are very attractive and even though I'm starting to dislike Miley a bit, I don't think she's fugly. I don't see why people drool over Amy Jo Johnson so much. She wasn't that cute on Power Rangers, Felicity or Susie Q for that matter. In fact she's manish looking. Ashely Tisdale probably looks like a goof-ball because you've only seen her in a comedy, a comedy in which you've probably only seen 1 episode of, 2 tops. Demi Lovato has already fixed her teeth FYI. That's not true. Keri Russell (star of `90s Mickey Mouse Club) is still doing well. Aside from her time on Felicity she's had success with indie movie, Waitress and popular guest appearences on Scrubs.

Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake are also technically Disney kids as they also starred on `90s Mickey Mouse Club. And they are still making hit records.

And if you wanna go WAY BACK you have Annette Funicello, original star of MMC, who's an icon to entire generation. And Kurt Russell, star of Disney movies in the 1970s like The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes and The Barefoot Executive, continues to have success in Hollywood.

I remember watching some of the early seasons of Smallville and no one, except maybe Laura, looked anywhere close to being a teenager. I was kind of surprised to hear that Ashley Tisdale was in her twenties, but not as much as some other people here.

As for the topic, I'm not surprised that they're giving Demi Lovato her own series. They probably want to keep the popularity of Camp Rock for awhile.

Disney premiered her new music video during the new Cheetah Girls movie. While I didn't think much of the song I have to say that she's definitely the best performer of all the current Disney musicians. People like Hannah Montana do fine, I guess, but Demi really gets into it and brings a lot of energy. I've seen that song as I'm watching Disney Channel every now and then. She definitely has a nice voice and the song isn't too bad either. I did get freaked out with her red gloves at one shot since it actually looked like blood on her hands, but then I realized Disney wouldn't go that far for a music video and I could also see that they were gloves. I wasn't paying attention that whole first time to begin with.

I'm listening to her album right now (:o ) and it seems like this girl wants to be the soft rock version of Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana. Cyrus/HM is like...power pop...while Lovato IS rock, but with the exception of a song or two it's soft rock.
