Chuck Jones Tribute

I managed to catch the first bit of the tribute on Boomerang before walking out the door for work today. They jumped right into the Rabbit of Seville without any kind of introduction or memorial or anything!

Not surprising though.
I am taping this marathon if anybody wants a copy pm or e-mail me and maybe we can work something out. Hopefully it gets better as it moves along!

I will be posting the contents shortly.

Except for the "We'll Miss You" promo every now and then, there has been NO special introductions or anything during this marathon. They have been just using generic Boomerang bumpers, like the kind you'd see during one of their "Laff-a-Lympics" or "Smurfs" marathons. They didn't even get the announcer to say something like "You're watching a Tribute to Chuck Jones on Boomerang!". They just used the generic: "Having fun? Good! There's more where that came from on Boomerang from Cartoon Network!"

As for cartoons, there have been no surprises. Kind of heavy on the Tom & Jerry, though. :rolleyes:
