If some of us are going to meet there, we need to decide which day to do it on. Can I have a show of hands of everyone that's going to go?

I will defitnely be there..Just pick everyone what day you want to see the showing. since I'll have some days off that week. And if anybody would like to do this, I'll even be a tour guide and show you guys some of the old NYC animation studios such as, The Fleischer Studios, Famous Studios, Van Bueren, and the Pat Sullivan Studios, which all still exists.
Since I work right in the heart of Times Square 43rd st and Broadway (not to far away from MOMA) it would be a great way to meet each other and see some historical animation sites!

Of all the MGM CinemaScopes to show, they picked "Scat Cats" and "Blue Cat Blues?" Does someone hate Hanna-Barbera or do they think MOMA patrons would enjoy watching a suicide-themed cartoon?
Other than that, it looks like a good selection. Too bad I won't be in New York until June...

Well a lot of good that does me. I won't be going to NY anytime soon. :(

As lame as this sounds, I can't plan on making the trip...at least not yet. Finals start on the 18th (yes, we do test on Saturday) so I may/may not be busy at that point, as I said in the earlier thread. Once I get a finals schedule or something I might maybe be able to plan for it, but I sort of doubt it. So for the time being, you guys better make plans without me, and if things change for me I'll let you know.

I could probably make the Saturday showing. I work all day Friday, so that's out, doc.

Well, I may not get to go. When I told my dad about it, I made the mistake of telling him what would be on the program, and that there wouldn't be any Warner Bros. (since they never made any shorts in Cinemascope). The main reason I'm interested is because of the Tom & Jerry and lone Disney short. The UPA and Terrytoons would be a bonus (I've never seen a Terrytoon).
