So yeah..i was pondering for awhile as to which series i should watch first..but i decided with JL/JLU cause it just interested me the most..im planning on watching S:TAS after it tho..and BB..not that interested at the moment. My question being..am i going to be confused if the only series ive seen before Jl/JLU is B:TAS? Ive seen BB first ep and the Call one..so i know the basics of it..however im completely in the dark of Supes and any other JL member villains/stories...So yeah..was this a bad idea? XD

Not really; while chronologically B:TAS takes place before Justice League, there aren't any direct allusions to any of the events on B:TAS on JL. (I would recommend watching B:TAS and The New Batman Adventures before Batman Beyond, though.)
Some of the events covered in S:TAS, however, are referenced on Justice League (well, more so on Unlimited), so you may be a trifle confused if you watch those episodes before JL/JLU.

It's actually pretty essential to watch some of S:TAS before JL/U, in my opinion...

QFT.
Besides, STAS and BTAS seem rather small and dull after the extremely epic themes of JL/JLU. My best friend saw JLU first and afterwards found BTAS boring because it was more quiet and grounded. I recommend watching them in the order they originally aired. BTAS first, than STAS, than BB and JL/JLU.
The DCAU reminds me of the Narnia books, in that there is a debate between chronological order and publishing order. In both cases, I say publishing order is better.
I don't think it really matters that much. You can always watch the various shows again in different orders, and you'll understand things more each time.

Very true. For example, I saw JLU before most of STAS. Therefore, I didn't know that Darkseid ever controlled Superman. When I got the final STAS set in 2006, it filled in the gaps. Though JLU provided enough background that I was never confused.

I watched all of Justice League without ever having seen more than a couple S:TAS and several BB episodes, and I didn't have a problem. Sure, there were likely some references and tidbits here and there that I didn't pick up from those shows, but storywise I was able to follow things without problems and enjoy the show. :)

Go ahead, you'll still enjoy it. HOWEVER, if you want to get the most out of JL/JLU, then you really do need to watch S:TAS and BB first, especially S:TAS.

Hmm..thanks for all your answers..and i actualy finished watching tabula rasa right now. darkseids story in Twilight was a bit confusing..but i know the basics of what happend in S:TAS..im still going to wait with S:TAS once im done with Jl/JLU tho..the "less epic/boring" part wont realy be a problem i think..

I picked up Justice League Season 2[season 1 wasn't in stock] because I remembered liking it when I was younger. After watching the whole season[and a single ep of JLU], I came onto these forums and found out about the rest of the DCAU. I immediately halted viewing JLU and ran out and got Superman vol. 1. About a month later, I had finished Superman and re-watched JL.
Wow, what a difference! The stories had so much more depth and, where as before seeing Superman I didn't like Twilight, it became one of my favorites. Watching JLU[By that time I'd seen most of Batman Beyond], I couldn't imagine how much less enjoyable it would have been had I not seen the other shows first.
I highly recommend watching Superman first and at least the first season of Batman Beyond before continuing.

The DVDs got the episode order mixed up.
