If they took Fried Dynamite off, then what would they air in its' place? Comedy premieres air on Har Har Tharsdays, and action premieres air on....well, there aren't any action premieres right now.

Probably to give those who missed the airings on Sunday a chance to see them again. Also, Fried Dynamite doesn't always replay the Sunday movies.

There's no action premieres? What are you smoking? Last time I checked, Poke'Mon D&P Battle Dimension, Ben 10: Alien Force, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and Robotboy (all of which could be considered action) were getting premieres on Dynamite Action Squad, and Naruto (defintley an action show) is getting premieres on Toonami. Now, I know Ben 10: AF goes back to reruns this week, but still 11 of the 13 season episodes have aired with premieres on Fried Dynamite or DAS, so it looks to me that they do have a premiere block, or two.

No need to be rude, friend.

And not everyone considers the likes of Pokemon and Robotboy to be action shows, at least not action shows suitable for prime-time.

Why can't cartoon network do the saturday fried dynamite instead having fried dynamite on friday, that would work right?

Simple question requires an even simpler--albeit snarky & sarcastic--answer.

Cartoon Network is run by morons who don't care what the true toon fans want, but rather how to further their bottom line with advertisers and corporate heads.

What would happen to Toonami then, I ask??

Well, the name of the block is Dynamite Action Squad. But yeah, they're aimed at younger kids, so the action is definitely "dumbed down". And I don't think RobotBoy was meant to be action in the first place.

The reason The Flicks movies are airing on Fried Dynamite is because the block is currently useless and defunct. It has nothing to premiere. Therefore it shows random movies, most of which so far have just been re-airings of The Flicks library, and encores of new Chowder and Flapjack episodes shown on Har Har the day before. I'm hoping the block is just a filler for now. It's in a state of no activity; Even less than the fading Toonami, which has actually been more active in the past few weeks. I'm hoping it's just being kept around until the action block airs in a couple months. It's been rumored that the action block has been switched from friday to saturday, but I'm hoping that's not the case, because it'd be heart wrenching for Toonami to leave.

Because those movies do well both on Sunday and Friday night... that's why they're on both.

I agree that its just because the movies do well on both Friday and Sunday, so they just air them both. I also think that it could just be a repeat for those who couldn't catch the showing on Sunday night.

I think they're getting it out to put in the Friday action block.

I'm not being rude. I'm merely pointing out that action premieres are currently on CN and asking what they consider those if they don't consider them action, because I'd honestly like to know, which is also why I said they currently have 2 premiere action blocks (DAS and Toonami).

IMO Robotboy falls more under comedy. However after watching recent episodes of Pokemon D&P: Battle Dimension, I'd consider the show far more action packed than most animations you'd watch on US broadcasting networks.

I agree with you on Robotboy. It doesn't seem much like an action show. While I love Pokemon, I see your point with how it wouldn't be suitable for prime-time. It would work best with Saturday morning blocks such as DAS. I personally see it working as a start up show for a block like Toonami, at least when it had four hours of time, but other than that, it works much better as a Saturday morning cartoon action show.
