"Mock Five," the Speed Racer parody.

Yea "Mock five" was hilarious. I also liked that Muffin King episode.
Secretly unknown to Dexter a mysterious stranger is mysteriously watching

--of the early episodes, either the one where he was forced to brave the "jungles" of his sister's room for his bread knife, or the one where his brain overloads and he ends up in a dress and makeup, kissing a duck's bum. Of the later eps--oddly enough, involving Dex cracking up again--the one where he goes to college, burns out on studying, and dams up the campus to build a huge pool. Dex is at his best when his own brilliance outsmarts him, from aging himself disasterously at least twice to laminating his body to causing himself to grow to seven feet tall and winding up slamming his head on a low bridge while atop the roller coaster.

"Mock 5" was great... everything about it is ultimate Dexter. It seems to be Dexter at it's best.

But then there seems to be many great episodes of Dexter. "The Muffin King" seems to be a cult favorite.

Yea, I loved "Mock 5", the Speed Racer parody. The "Muffin King" was also a great episode. I also like the season 2 finale of Dexter, the half hour long episode that had all the characters of "Dexter's Lab" fighting a Godzilla like monster.

My favorite one is definitely when Dexter goes to Japan, has a robo-competition with the students, blows up Mt. Fuji, awakening a hhuge monster that destroys the whole city and leaving Dexter no choice but to tell his parents about the secret lab. Then, him, DeeDee and his parents team up and attack with a big robot, but Monkey ends up saving the day.

Sorry if this sounds confusing; I'm sorta in a rush. :p

mock 5 all the way and a close second would be either the model episode or the d&d episode

IN mock-5, the car's name is mark-5. Weird, huh.

The "Dungeons & Dragons" like episode of Dexter's Lab annoys me for some reason.

By far the best eppy of Dexter is the semi-cult favorite THE MUFFIN KING. It's Dad at his best in a silly plot point (and a revealing reason for why he married Mom!), with a wonderful Star Wars reference. Who wouldn't like it?

Number 2 is when Dexter tries to study the mysterious animal known as the girl...only Dee Dee and her friends could go from trying to ready Dexter for a date to dressing him up as one of...THEM. :D

...come to think of it, anything with Dad or the Justice Friends will be in my top five. These are some of the most fun chars I've seen in cartoondom, and it must be a pleasure to write for them.

I thought it was just named "Mock 5" kind of like "Mach 5" - you know, in reference to Speed Racer of course.

"Moch 5" is hugely overrated, IMHO...what about "Omelette du Fromage"? That one's classic! :)

Yes, "The Big Cheese" is pretty good. But everything about "Mock 5" was great -- the animation is great, the fast talking dialouge, everything.

Until DeeDee comes along and teases, "That's all you can sa-ay, that's all you can sa-ay." Every time I see that episode with her taunting him like that, I feel like throwing something at her.

The Muffin King was good. So was Mock 5, and The Big Cheese.

I had the impression that's how we're *supposed* to respond to Dee Dee.

Mock 5, Dad is disturbed, The Muffin King, The snowball episode ( "I was a king of men, I was a force of nature!!-Then I went to college....I was never the same again!") Beard to be Feared and all the Justice Friends episodes "Krunk want Puppet Pals!"

Any Dexy's Lab episode that featured a "Justice Friends" segment was my favorite, as well as the Speed Racer parody, "Mock 5."

Soooooo many to choose from. The one that comes to mind immediately is "Hamhocks and Armlocks." A great Dad episode! "Old Man Dexter" is great, too! For originality, "Dexter and Computress Get Mandark!" takes the cake. Very creative. (that kid must have been thrilled when he saw it!) "Mock 5" is great. So is "Last But Not Beast." Also "Coupon For Craziness." I'd have to pick "Hamhocks..." since it's the first one I thought of. What an awesome show! I'm so glad I've taped all of them (and that I still have a copy of "Barbequor" on tape, since it's not being played anymore, apparently.)

The Mock V episode was my personal favorite.
