That show was awesome. Anyone remember that? Judd Winnick with his own show. I remember really liking that show, and they played it real consistently for a while, then it just sort of evaporated? In retrospect it was a relatively well done show.
Any chance of it returning to the air?
And anyone else a fan?
I thought that was cool. That and Hi hi Puffy Ami Yumi, which also mysteriously disappeared after it had its run for some reason. Even though it was entertaining and funny.

CN's not bringing back no old cartoons but jack or just a one shoot deal with the sunday theme marathons
it was just like teenage robot jake long and others.

How often is a topic similar to this one posted?
I remember it being fairly decent, yeah. Nothing that special but something definitely entertaining and enjoyable.
Basically, though, it didn't do so hot in the ratings, same with Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi.

I remember a similar thread to this one a few months ago. Anyway, yes, I remember the Life and Times of Juniper Lee. I did find it to be an enjoyable show, but I overall enjoyed American Dragon Jake Long for its characters and writing. The action and animation were better in Juniper Lee, at least during most of the first season of American Dragon, but I never really liked how only three people, Jun, her brother and her grandmother, could see the monsters. It was a new twist to monster fighting, but it didn't work out with me. I also found it depressing that Jun couldn't tell her friends about it and couldn't leave her city, unlike what Jake Long could do as the American Dragon.
I don't think that CN has any plans to air Juniper Lee again, but I think that the last few episodes aired on CN Video awhile ago.

Juniper Lee has only been off the air since 2007. I'm sure plenty of people still remember it.
I do. While there were some clever gags here and there, overall I personally thought the idea was better than the actual show. I also didn't like how June couldn't tell anybody she was the Te Xuan Ze (secret identities/lives are one of my peeves) and how she could never leave Orchid Bay. I also thought she should've wielded some actual magic instead of relying solely on brute force. Super-strength is OK, but alone you only do so much with it. And the character of Ray-Ray got on my nerves big time, but that's just me.

If Ray-Ray wasn't the most annoying character of all time, he was definitely in the Top 10.

I liked it, but then again I liked nearly every 'kid with powers/skills saves the world from evil' show that came out around the same time. Juniper Lee at least attempted some witty dialogue that sometimes hit and the world was colorful and fun enough for me.

Juniper Lee has only been off the air since 2005.
Actually, it's been off the air since 2006/ early 2007ish.
And, for the record, the show needed a little work. The animation was real smooth and not stiff, unlike Cartoon Network's originals like Camp Lazlo, and Gym Partner (sans Squirrel Boy and Class of 3000).
The theme song was nice. I'd wish we see seen June's parents more.
And, Ray Ray was like a human version of D.W. Read.

You never know if it will return or not. Alot of older shows like Totally Spies pops up every so often it's on next weeks schedule so you never know.

Actually, in May of 2007, a new short aired.
And on CN Video, two unaired JL episodes aired in February and April 2007.

Actually, it premiered in 2005, and has been off the air since 2007. It was promoted well into Cartoon Network's 2004 format change.
Judd's a pretty creative guy, but I never really watched the show, mainly because I didn't have the time, and partly because what I saw never really did anything for me. Not that I thought the show was terrible, just didn't really grab me. Poor Judd got the short end of the stick, though; CN was all too eager to drop the show like a rock after less than 2 years. Makes me wonder if he'll try his hand at animation again.

Juniper Lee was a fun little show. I guess maybe it was just made at the wrong time; if the concept wasn't so similar to Jake Long, it might have done better than it did. I don't remember how good it was when it comes to animation or writing, but I think had a good mix of action and comedy. The blend of action and comedy it used makes me think that if CN ever made another theatrical film, and if this series lasted longer, it could've maybe pulled it off. I mean, the premise has roots that can be manipulated. A magical monster fighter who inherits the title of Te Xuan Ze and cannot leave her home town. There's got to be some kind of story in there. I'm not saying it would've made a box office fortune, animated flicks (that aren't Pixar or Dreamworks) rarely do that well anymore, but it could've been a decent movie. Ah, what am I blabbering about, either way it was a good show.
