What did you think of the character as seen in X-Men Evolution?

Mod Note: Please don't link to illegally uploaded video.

Also, did you like her voice? I have no prob with it but others do.

Eh, not a big fan of X23. For one thing, her very existence was kind of redundant; did we really need a teenage girl Wolverine? Who asked for a Wolverine Girl? Also, she came off as a Mary Sue in her first appearance: X23 breaks into the mansion and instantly subdues everybody with little effort except Wolverine, so they can square off and then have a touchy-feely kindred spirits moment. How convenient.

I know she's canon to the comics now, but X23 on Evo she seemed like a bad fanfic character. I did kind of like her design, but that's about it.

(No offense to any fans of X23, I'm just not one of them.)

To be fair, X23 "started" in Evo, and I think Yost & Kyle were getting a feeling for her character there. I wasn't a huge fan of her in Evo, but I think she became a fantastic character in the comics because her backstory demands some material you just can't put in a kids' cartoon. She certainly had the potential to just be a "female Wolverine", but I think she's been written really well. I think one thing they could have done to make her a little better in Evo, without getting into the mature stuff like her slitting her wrists, would be to make her less wordy like she is in the comics, talking only when something needs to be said, and being very inhumanly unemotional about things such as death and whatnot.
