Sorry for tkaing so long to put this thread up. I thought someone else woulda put this up actually! Anyways, how awesome was this episode! Not only was it the end of a major storyline, but the opening of a brand new one...comments? Thoughts?

:D , I was sooo waiting for this!

We have THE TERRORISTS doing everything possible to stop Palmer from being elected, and THEM doing everything possible to make sure he is. I don't know who seems more... evil! It seems Palmer has finally fallen under THEIR sway, showing just how effective THEY are. Scary bunch, and the closest we've even seen to THEM is simply "the grease" with Palmer just being the washed and waxed outer shell.

Leslie Hope (Teri) is simply a great actress. The desperation she showcased early in the episode was downright frightening. Ah, and those mysterious pains are returning...

What is up with Rick? When Kim didn't find him in the watertower, I was sure he took up on Bauer's words to make things right. But... he hopped on a bus and is in the process of disappearing! One horrid thought that popped in my head was that maybe he was playing the 'good cop' and is still loyal to Gaines and Co., but his actions in the last few episodes (except, say, giving the family an unloaded weapon and telling them its loaded) prove otherwise. So... why'd he flee?

Now, with Gaines toasted, the scene is now set for the Contingency Plan... Are we supposed to recognize this guy? :)

Where is Rick going? What's with Teri's mysterious pains? Who is the mysterious new assassin from Belgrade? And why is Palmer giving into, as Borg4of3 called them, "THEM"? Man, next week's episode is going to be interesting.
