Okay, so for the Dark Knight midnight showing tomorrow, I'm putting together a Joker costume. I bought temporary spray hair dye to give my hair a [hopefully] temporary green tint. I want it to wash out with a few washes of my hair AND I don't know how to apply it. Could someone please help me?

The color and brand is Beyond The Zone Color Bomb Z Zoner Green.

Put the dye on your hair when your costume is on.

There you go! ;)

in addition to that, wear a towel over your costume while you spray. give the spray about 30~60 minutes to dry before you remove the towel so that you don't stain the costume.

When I needed my hair blonde for ComicCon a few years ago, I found a tube of this great temporary dye that you simply rub into your hair like regular styling gel, and it was great. Afterwards, it came out with just a single wash. I can't remember the brand, though, but the lady at the salon told me it was pretty popular, so I'm sure there's similar products out there.

I used a black version of the same brand you mentioned, MM54, and had no problems. You shake up the can, you spray it all over your head (enlisting the help of a friend or friendly passerby to get the back), and go. You can either do it sans shirt and make sure to give it a chance to dry before you pull whatever you're wearing over your head, or you can dress first and put a towel around you shoulders to keep it from getting on your clothes. Even without a towel, I sprayed the crap out of my head and only got one wee little spot on the shirt I was wearing (and it was a crappy white t-shirt that I'd chosen because I didn't care about it). It comes out the next time you wash your hair, no problem.

Only thing to be aware of is that if you're going to be using hair gel, it's best to put that on first, because otherwise you'll get the color spray all over your hands when you go to apply the gel.
