It's Official! 360's Price Gets Slashed to $299 - Talkback

Well, you guys may've heard this news that was started a while back in the 360 section of QJ as a rumor. Now, GameStop (at GameStop.com) has announced that starting today that all Pro Systems will be reduced to $299.

Along with this, they also announced that the 60GB SKU model will be available in the first week of August (several weeks just before the U.S/Canadian debut of Tales of Vesperia).

I think its important to note that its only for the 20gb unit untill they get phased out.

I'm still waiting to see if the new 60GB SKU will have the new Jasper chipset.

I will hopefully be buying assumign my parents agree, which is my only problem (Got 600 Dollars along with my PS2 + Games which I should be able to sell for $100)

Man that sucks. I just bought my 360 a month ago and it gets a price cut. But im still glad that its cheaper now.

If you bought it at Gamestop, they'll refund you what you would have saved as long as you have the receipt and that the price drop was within 30 days.

I'm not sure if the deal is still active, but I got mine at Target with a $25 Dollar Gift Card. After 2 stores, I got the last one at the 2nd. yay me
