So, after the finale of Death Note aired I was really impressed. The last two hours were probably the best thing on TV I've seen in years. Of course, my excitement was slightly diminished by the fact that less than 400,000 people watched it. So, I felt the need to write to TV Guide's critic Matt Roush about how great this show was in a desperate attempt to get this show at least a little bit of publicity. I didn't actually expect him to print my e-mail, as I actually sent him an e-mail about Death Note back when it first aired, but looks like my enthusiasm really came through in my e-mail. I was very excited to go to TVguide.com and see my e-mail in today's Ask Matt column. I don't know if such a small mention will actually get Death Note any ratings, but considering that TV Guide is pretty mainstream and anime in general almost never gets any mainstream attention, I think every bit of publicity helps. I say, if just one other person watches and enjoys Death Note after reading my letter, than I will feel that I accomplished something. Gee, I didn't think I was going to write this much of an introduction. I'm considering deleting everything I just wrote. I don't want to make it sound like I'm accepting an award when all I did was got my letter published. Oh, well, here's the column:

Congratulations!!

Hopefully it'll get some viewers so anime won't die out on Adult Swim.

Actually, thanks for for reminding me it ended, cause I missed Eps 1-10 of Death Note (I watched 11-End of the First Arc)

Yeah a week late on this but I just saw it:sweat: I say bravo for any exposure you can get it. I feel the same way, if I can just get one other person to watch a show like death note then thats great. A show that damn good just makes me want someone else to enjoy it so then we can talk about how damn good it was! It's one of the few anime I've ever seen that I believe could hook *anybody*. Some old man, a kid, that kid's dog, anybody who watched a few episodes of this show would want to see how it turns out. I always pester friends and cooworkers to try it out but alas, not much use so far.
