Is your all time favourite scene from Batman Animated?
For me it would have to be the Joker standing in the doorway of Arthur Reeves office in Mask of the Phantasm. The voice, the silhouette, the music, the atmosphere - all perfect.
So, what's yours? :)

When an angry motorist suffering from a fit of road rage tricks off the wrong driver. I can only be talking about Joker's favor after one fat slob flipped off the Joker and had to pay for it with his life. He didn't really die, but he did lose his life.

My favorite was in Mad Love when Harley had Batman chained upside down over the pirahna tank. She said that with Bats out of the way she could finally live happily ever after with Mr J.

When she said that, Batman started laughing. It was the creepiest laugh, it messed with the audience as much as it did with Harley.

The part in Second Chance when Batman confronts Two-Face. Back then, I really didn't know who he was talking to which made it that much more effective.

The scene in Almost Got 'Im where Joker reveals the twist in his story and killer Croc reveals himself to be Batman in disguise. Then just when the villains think they have him, he snaps his fingers and everybody in the bar pulls guns on them.

My favorite Batman: The Animated Series scene?

NO CONTEST.

The death of Dick Grayson's parents from Robin's Reckoning.

Do I really need to explain why?

I think I can sum up my response with one quote..."I threw a rock at him!"

I'd have to say the scene in MOTP when Bruce is at his parents grave and it's raining and he's trying to explain the change in plans. My favorite TNBA scene would have to be when Dick punched Batman, and then we he come's back in the end of Sins of the Father. My fav B:TAS scene would have to be something in Robin's Reckoning, just not sure what.

That's so hard... Love so many moments...

*********************************************

Bruce: (to Tim) Rule number one: you give me everything you've got. Rule number two- then you give me more. And rule number three: I make the rules.

Dick: (emerging from shadows) Better watch out for that last one, kid. It's a killer.

Bruce: (gasping) Dick?

Alfred: My word!

Dick: Hey, no one can be a boy wonder forever.

Yay! Gotta love that! :D

The S.W.A.T./G.C.P.D. chase scene from Mask of the Phantasm. It was so exciting, and his mask got torn off, so suspense got drawn in. Lots of action, and how Batman got away was great, and how he fooled the police.

Wow, so many choices... I'm sure I'll be forgetting many. But here's a few that pop out in my mind...

Harvey Dent learning that he's hideously scarred in Two Face, Part I, which causes Grace to faint. The way he said "goodbye, Grace" showed such a great mixing of emotion.

For pure visceral thrills, Clayface's "death" scene in Feat of Clay, Part II was amazingly animated.

Heck, pick a scene from "Over the Edge." I'm fascinated at how the spiral of despiration and obscession from both Jim Gordon (catching the "killer" of his daughter) and Batman (simple survival) eventually lead them to both compromise their ethics.

And then there's the shot of Bruce's final outing as Batman that served as a prologue to Batman Beyond. The emotional intensity of that scene, not to mention the fact that the motivation(s) for Bruce to quit, followed by the mothballing of the Batcave continues to give me chills.

I can't very well pin down ONE all-time favourite scene, but here are a couple...

*. Batman's confrontation scenes with Poison Ivy in:
"Pretty Poison" (at her greenhouse)
"Eternal Youth" (at the Eternal Youth spa)
"Almost Got Im" (at the pumpkin field on Halloween)
They're all very memorable & cool!

*. The opening sequence of "Eternal Youth", where Mrs. Thomas' attempts to escape from the spa fails, and is caught by Poison Ivy who sees it to that she "pays the bit debt she & her kind owe Mother Nature". That was so cool. ("Evil, Mrs. Thomas? I don't level a company that used a 1000 year old forest for a strip mine. THAT'S evil!")

*. Red Claw in the middle of beating the crap out of a taken-by-surprise Catwoman, when a mountain lion comes to Catwoman's rescue & knocks Red Claw over. ("Cat and the Claw: Part 2")
I'm one of Catwoman's 'BIGGEST', most ardent fans, but the Red Claw-Catwoman showdown was really cool & quite powerful!, even though Red Claw had the upper hand by seizing a weak moment of Catwoman's. And the part where one of Selina's feline buddies gives her a helping paw in her hour of need is so cute - one of the sweetest parts in the show.

*. Catwoman saying "You know what your problem is? You always let me get too close" to Batman, canivingly kicking him/knocking him down, and promptly taking off with a witty "Excuse me, but I've got a date with a scratching post".
(at the museam in "Catwalk") A typical & classic Catwoman moment! :D

*. Harley getting into Veronica Vreeland's car outside the fashion shop, beckoning her hyenas to hop inside, & taking off with a terrfified n bemused Veronica. That was hilarious! ("Harley's Holiday")

*. Bane's de-venoming sequence, towards the end of "Bane". It was really cool (and reminiscent of Clay Face's 'death' in "Clay Face: Part 2").

*. Mr. Freeze bursting into the nightclub with his two polar bears & creating a big commotion over "Which one of you is Barbara Gordon?" until Babs turns herself in & Freeze takes off with her. I also really liked the scenes in which Freeze imprisons Barbara, talks about his plans for her & very nearly uses her to retrieve his wife Nora's life. Really engaging & powerful stuff!

There are many more of course, if I go through all the eps, but I had better shut up now...

Although she was annoying, I liked the entire first Baby Doll episode. Really! I was actually ROTFL and saying: "Okay, so you mean that Batman can outsmart and out-karate just about everyone in the gotham universe, and yet he almost meets his match with a spoiled brat and a karate kid agent?"

My second favorite scene would have to be the one (AARGH! I forget the episode name!) where Harley tried to go straight, and wound up leading Batman on a wild-goose car chase. The scene where she says "I think I made a mess on your cape" is priceless!
