Lois has been on a sabbatical with her Mom since her dad died in the invasion. What is up between her and Clark? I mean they get together and hangout. But, after her mom asked if she was excited about going home. She gave a maybe answer.
ps-I liked how her mom thinks she is cheating on Clark with Superman.

I think a lot of it stems from a deal that she made with Luthor a while back - perhaps a feeling of guilt for not telling Clark about it? Another reason is her dad died in Our World's At War whereas Clark thought his dad had died and later found out he was still alive - I think the writers are trying to show that Lois is feeling alone with her dad gone and doesn't feel it's right she lost her dad and Clark's is still alive - trying to get close to her mother and help her grieve also. That's the feeling I've been getting from it at least.

What was the deal Lois made with Lex? Also, what happened with Lex finding out that Clarks is Supes??

The deal that Lois made with Lex hasn't been fully revealed (at least I don't think it has - I'm still a couple months behind on my reading) but I do think it has something to do with the fact Lex can kill one story of hers with no questions asked. As for Lex finding out Superman is Clark - nothing has happened, yet.

Superman 151.
The Arrival of the new teams.
the reopening of the Daily Planet.
We find out that Luthor sold the Planet back for just one dollar.
But we find out on the last page that Lois made a deal with him that she has to kill any story he wants her to. I think the dialogue went something along the lines of:
"It might be tomorrow, or three weeks from Tuesday. It may be a weather report, or the biggest story of your career. But you will kill it, no questions asked."

Thanks for the confirmation ClarkKent - that's what I thought the deal had suggested. Altho it does lead one to wonder what deals the Parasite made while he was impersonating Lex, seeing as how Lex had certain DNA products found on the Parasite. Hmm.....kinda surprised Lex wasn't madder about this and hasn't really done anything about it come to think of it.
