The District

[The Penguin]

Does anyone around here watch "The District" on CBS? It stars Craig T. Nelson of "Coach" fame as DC Police Chief Jack Mannion. It also has Sean Patrick Thomas from "Save the Last Dance" and Lynne Thigpen, who played The Chief in "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" in the cast.

I think it's a great show and I make sure I never miss it. I almost missed the pilot last year (I like to check out the pilots of interesting-looking shows), but I caught it and haven't looked back. It's funny and yet is a serious cop show at the same time. Anyone else have thoughts?

Yeah, it is a good show, but I liked the Irish guy from the first season better than that LaPaglia guy they have now, but he's pretty good too.

I also really liked Danny. I read somewhere that the actor decided he didn't want to come back so his character was killed.
