[Desensitized]

Ok, the fun starts here. I put some numbers in a hat and picked out each in pairs of two. Scroll down to see your listing in the first round.

You will have 2 weeks to get this round done considering 4 people need to combine their efforts, but the faster it is done, the faster we can move on.

As before, this is a best of 3 round. The battles will be 3 stock.

Be aware that sometimes the options reset themselves after a brawl, so you'll need to check if teams are still selected as well as if banned items are still off. Items will be set on "Low", and several items are considered banned. When starting a fight, make sure the following items are turned OFF:

Also, each team in the tourney will be designated a color before their match. You will have to change the options to team battle and choose the color you are assigned.

Well, I guess we won. Though I know there was at least one match with team attack off and an illegal item or two during one. But the Wild n' Woolly Shamblers won all the matches.

Believe it or not, I put numbers in a hat and pulled 1 and 2... Well, I assigned each team a number based on the order they signed up in then chose 2 at a time. Somehow I got 1 and 2 right away.

I was a bit perturbed that we got you guys first too. Almost like fighting Raven in the first round. :p

Actually, it's probably better since we were able to hold the match on such short notice since you need to go on vacation tomorrow, and we were lucky that Desensitized and me were available with you and Punisher.

And I'm with Desensitzed; I was scared going into the match too because I've fought you two before, and you both have kicked my butt on numerous occassions. Especially Punisher since I've fought against him in Group A of the last tourney.

This was a heart-pounding battle! James Bester and Punisher are really difficult opponents, and twice, it all came down to Desensitized with Ness and Punisher with Toon Link. It could have been anyone's game and you guys had me on the edge of my seat (although I'm not too surprised I died and lost all 3 of my stock in those two battles since I'm nowhere near you three's calibers in Brawl talent :p ), and wow, James really let me have it with R.O.B.; I think both Lucario and Wolf are going to have singed fur for a good while. :anime:

James Bester, have a safe and fun vacation with your family, and Punsiher and James Bester, I'm honored to have fought suhc a wonderful three matches. I'm going to remember these for a good while and I saved one on my SD card.

I'm not sure but out of all four of the matches, it was the only one that was under three minutes, so it's likely it's the one you're thinking about. I think it's the third match where we all fought in Delfino Plaza and I was Wolf and you were Ness. I'm not sure though so I'll check when I get the chance.

Man the Pimps of Inferno got destroyed. None of the matches were even that close, except for the one on Luigi's Mansion where it came down to Ness against my ROB. I was sure I had JD on the edge seeing as he was in the 100%s and only needed a good hit to go flying and lose, but he shot himself into me and I went flying off the stage in defeat, which I KNEW was going to happen, and I saw he was gearing up to do it right before he did. Unfortunatley I didn't get the shield up in time, or maybe I did, but either way I died as a result.

Also, James, WHAT THE HELL. I know you can steal lives in team brawl, but why did you have to choose the time when I was about to die anyway but still had a backup life to steal-I was ko'd immediatlery after that and with my second life stolen, got eliminated from the match.:sweat:

Good matches though, they were fun. Finally gave me a chance to turn on the Wii, I haven't played it since I beat some VC games way back in May. And RougeFan, I believe you have me and James mixed up-he was the one using Toon Link and I used ROB(and Olimar in the last match).

Desensitized, my pleasure. I still can't send it to Daxdiv though because we haven't registered both of our Wii numbers even though I entered it in already.

Punisher, I looked at the replay, and you and James weren't doing badly at all. You sent me flying with ROB twice, once with your booster rockets and the other by throwing ROB's disc at me. It was an intense battle, but I could see you two giving it as good as you got with me and JD. :)

I was incredibly shocked to see JD spike ROB into the water like that; I didn't realize that could happen in Delfino Plaza.

The best part arguably was the end when JD charged up his PK Thunder for a charge and Punisher was flying towards him with a spin attack. That's when I jumped and sent a laser into ROB, narrowly missing Ness, and stunned him, leaving him to get the brunt of a flying Ness vuia PK thunder a split second later. :p

Seriously, the major credit of the win goes to JD; he got the more kills in that round than me.

I think the problem is locations. Maybe one of us(not me since we fight with lag free) causes a major dced for you when you try fighting?

Well...I just got back from vacation....and I have to go to my mom's until Monday night for my brother's birthday.:sweat: Sorry guy's....I'm having to go to all sorts of things. And what's worst is my grandma want's me to go with her Tuesday to visit my aunt and uncle/cousin....until Wednesday (but that's still undecided)

I guess I should go ahead and ask the others participating in this match when would be best for them?

I don't know about East but I have a rather irregular schedule since I work swing shift from 2:30PM-11PM Pacific. Which means my times for playing on weekdays are 9AM-1:30PM and 12AM-2AM or later. And it doesn't help that I'm in the pacfic time zone because that makes my game times. 12PM-4:30PM and 3AM-5AM.

On weekends probably any time works but you have to keep in mind timezones and also... I don't like to sit around all day trying to make a fight happen when there's plenty of other stuff I could enjoy doing on Saturday and Sunday.

Sketch: 9AM-1:30PM PST/ 12PM- 4:30PM EST
Dukect45: 4PM - 11:30PM EST/ 1PM - 8:30PM PST
And aside from the next few days, I like East can play mostly anytime...but on weekdays that leaves only 30mins of playtime... and with the possibility of lag I think that's a fairly big gamble....

So what do you guy's say around 2PM EST time on Saturday?

Because I have a sneaking suspicion that your Internet provider is the cause of the lag and not your connection or your machine, especially since you already mentioned that you have a router and whatnot and we have even played against Jave in Chile with hardly any problems, so it's the only culprit I can think of.

Possibly the most annoying one of all. Did you know that if you stay on the internet too long, they cut the speed down to below dial-up? Yet still make you pay an extremely high price. Sadly, we may end up going back to dial-up soon, this connection just isn't worth it. When I joined this tournament I asked my family to use it a little less, and so did I.(luckely, the speed wasn't cut back)

Then here's hoping that the next tier of tourney plays goes better. I know what you mean though, this doesn't bode well, and we really wanted people to have fun with this tournament to begin with.

I don't know why I was doing so bad, at first I thought my analog stick had broken (and I think it is) but I switched to my wavebird for the final round and didn't do too hot either.

Des you also improved a lot since last time we battled or maybe I'm out of practice because you kept being one step ahead of me. At least I was able to get a few kills in the rounds even if I died early and we kept team damage to a minimum.

Jave and sdp, you both are wonderful opponents! The first match was in Luigi's Mansion, and Wild and Woolly Shamblers won, though barely because it was left to JD against sdp and that was close enough.

The second match was again in Luigi's Mansion, and it was tense and Team Titans pulled away as the victors thanks to Jave and his masterful work with Lucario.

The third match was on Bridge of Eldin, and that was close too, but surprisingly, it was Lucario versus Lucario as the last men...er, Pokémon standing :anime: , trading Double-Team moves and Aura Spheres back and forth. However, Jave single-handedly won and pulled a 2-1 victory for the Team Titans.

Slowdown or not, I was VERY satisfied with the three matches, and I could tell we all gave it as good as we got, but sdp and Jave of Team Titans are unquestionably the better team. Don't disappoint me, boys. The first prize quite possibly has your names on it, so best of luck and Brawl with honor! ;)

In retrospect, I gotta say that these were some of the best matches I've ever experienced. Even if I would have lost at the final Lucario vs. Lucario, it wouldn't have changed how awesome it felt.

sdp, you were great in all matches. I may have landed the final blow in the two matches we won but you did a fantastic job racking up damage. You certainly know how to exploit Pikachu's strengths.

You know, there's really a sort of charm to playing with little to no hazards. It adds to the winning experience a lot and it really shows when you're getting better with the game. It just... FEELS great.

Again, you guys were all fantastic. I really wish the matches could have been saved so that everyone could take a peek at them but what can you do. I'd love to brawl with you guys again soon.
