Exactly....what is the show going to be about?...it is an alternate "what if?" plotline like Batman Beyond right? I hope so, the thought of an official plotline where batman is retired makes me cringe...its okay for a "what if?", becuase I really liked Batman Beyond, just not officially...kinda like the superboy show ^^

Actually... Me too. What's this really gonna be about, with Batman retired and all?

yeah last time I checked Warner didn't have a correctly functioning brain we want a BATMAN SHOW! Not the adventures Barbara Gordon on Wheels. ^^ I hope it will be good but I really think a Bruce Wayne show would have been much better.

As far as sites gave let on about in in reviews and summaries, it's going to be a post-Batman show. Something along the lines of his hanging up the cape and cowl, or going into seclusion *as if!*, and so it's up to the Birds of Prey to watch over Gotham in his stead. That's the basis for the show, is that all you guys wanted to know?

Well Bruce was retired from being Batman at the start on Dark Knight Returns.
I had no problem with the story being presented on BOP TV.
It is just another elseworld story with no connection to the current comic.
Nothing wrong with that.

this is offtopic but while I got you comic readers attentions :-p could you tell me why they still call the new comic batman number 600 if they started the official story over in the 80s? shouldn't they just retire the original "batman" name and call it "ultimate batman" or something?

Awesome link BW! I had yet to see this site, and was glad it had a little bit more info then the other two or three sites had concerning BOP. Obviously, no matter what we think now, it'll all depend on when it airs, and even if it does air. It could be great, it could not, but we wont know till we actually see it on tv. I would think we're all hoping for it to be a success. Not in the sense that all non-Batman kind of people like it, but in the sense that it's enjoyed by hopefully a majority of Batman/BOP fans...since they will obviously be the toughest critics.
