That last episode, on Sunday, was a direct copy of the ancient Roman gladiatorial fights! Down to the thumbs up-thumbs down thing! Did anyone else notice this?

I did notice and it was one of the things I really liked about the episode (okay, about the only thing). It was all very fitting.
Still hate how they treated J'onn though.

It was an ausome episode. I liked the action, though it looked a little silly.

Of course. Even down to "the empire is falling apart so let's entertain the masses to distract them." The JL don't fit the Germanic tribes archtype, but they can't get these things note-perfect. Or maybe they will?
