Something lacking?

Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else kinda feel like there's something missing, on these boards? Something....lacking? Either there hasn't been much posting, or not enough things to reply to..I dunno. For some reason, I just feel like there's something missing on these boards?

And I hate to say it..but, I think it might have been the Ani-Gen=Anitainment & Anygen boards thing. I use to (just about) only post on the AnyGen board. Now it's two boards...so I have two boards that I 'MUST' visit every day? And I guess it feels like some people aren't adjesting well, so the posts are abit..lacking? I dunno...maybe it's just me, but I wanted to say something. :)

I definitely get what your saying JJ, for one the post numbers do seem to have become more manageable. On the plus side, there's less inane chatter going on, unfortunately, it also seems like there's less interesting topics to discuss as well. Maybe it's just a slow week.

Well, keep in mind that this is NOT the old AniGen board, and comparing post activity really isn't fair. All the AniTainment posts are now on a new board, so that cuts the postings in half, about. And people are still a little uncertain about what does or doesn't belong here.

Even then, recent activity only feels light in comparison to the crush that came before. This board seems to have about as much activity as the Justice League board.

I, for one, am appreciateive of it. I would come home from a few hours of work, and I would have about two pages of posts to catch up on the AniGen board, not to mention the boards I moderate. I know that the total posts between the two new boards probably total more than 1 page if I am off line for any significant length of time, but for some reason, it seems easier (from a moderator perspective) to keep up now.

Firstly: This was ESPECIALLY in the old days, but I would try to visit each and every board. You Termite Terrance people may remember me. :D So don't worry about just two boards to visit....^^;

But really, I think it's more beneficial. Yes, we've a bit of a lag, but that will soon catch up. It HAS been a slow week, really, and we're trying to find topics that would fit on this board now that we have two General boards.
Besides, like Calhoun said: there's nothing worse than having to catch up on pages' worth of posts. And I've been gone from this place for more than a few hours...:o
