Thread title says all. I caved in and purcahsed Ikaruga on the Xbox Live Arcade, and the game is just as brutal as I remembered it. Managed to get up to the fourth chapter before being destroyed, which is pretty good I'd like to think. The achievements for it are quite ridiculous, so if I attempt anything more than 100 points from it then I'll be busy for quite a while.

And if the rumors are true that Soul Calibur hits the Arcade tomorrow, then I'm getting that. But that may just be for Japan, I read another date that says it comes out the same day as Soul Calibur 4. We'll see tomorrow for sure though.

Etrian Odyssey II - I haven't played the first one, but I can already tell this game is going to be one tough game from the opening level. Well, that, and the fact there's so much of those "This game is hard!" posts for the original EO on just about every discussion thread about the game. :D

I bought the Wii. And I rented three games.

Super Smash Bros.
It's so nice to finally have chance to play this game fully. Already locked several characters. I plan to get

Super Mario Galaxy
This game is fun once I got the hang of it. It's visually incredible, and just fun to hop from one planet to another. Unfortunately, I suffer from motion sickness playing 3D platformers, so I can't play for more than an hour.

Super Paper Mario
Not as awesome as I'd hope. I guess I'm not in the mood for its RPG experience.

For my birthday today, I bought with my birthday money The World Ends With You (DS).:D I understand it's a great game! I picked it up at Saturday Matinee/FYE with a 20% Backstage Pass birthday discount!:D TWEWY is pretty cool,though I'm still at the beginning of the game (not that it's difficult,I just haven't played in awhile...I'm kinda Mario Kart Wii addicted right now)....

I got my stimulus check the other day,and I ended up getting the 80GB PS3 (I wanted a BLU-Ray player,and my brother wanted to play Metal Gear Solid 4)...I'm probably not going to get any other games for it for awhile,though there are a couple BLU-RAY movies I'm interested in getting...

I got a used copy of DBZ Burst Limit with my EB Games 25 precent off coupon, so with the edge card i got like 35 precent off, which roughed to like 30 bucks. Also PN 03 for Gamecube. Ive heard somewhat negitive reviews on the game when it came to the controls being better, and after playing, i can vouch for that.

Same, so now i dont have to debate getting the game on my dreamcast. Plus, is that a straight port or does the XBLA version look visually better?...

Toys R Us had Elite Beat Agents for the DS in their clearance bin for $7, so I grabbed that. I wasn't a huge fan of it when I rented it about a year or so ago, but I'm a fan of that style a game, and with all the hype about it, I figured I'd give it another shot for $7.

I finally got an Onyx DS Lite, I upgraded from the ugly original one. I can't believe how bright and good-looking the Lite is! I also picked up Brain Age which is fun but gets boring because you have to wait for the next day to unlock new things. I know you can probably just change the DS's calendar but I don't really want to mess up my sister's file.

Earlier this morning, my father took me 360 hunting. Our closest Target didn't have it, so we went to the nearest Wal-Mart Supercenter (good few minutes drive), which had it but forgot the memo about the $50 price drop (it was 9 am though). After trying Circuit City and Best Buy, which were not even open yet, we went to Savannah's other Target (located 45 minutes from my house), where it was in good supply. Along with the $25 Gift Card, I also got this:

I got New Super Mario Bros. in the mail today, which I ordered from someone selling on Amazon. I'm going on vacation in August, and I wanted a fresh new game to take with me, and this is the best that I could come up with. I don't know if I want to keep it though, since I haven't actually played a Mario game in so long, since Super Mario 64. I guess my mind will be truly made up once I start playing it on a regular basis. That will be either before, or on the day I leave.

Gears of War: 2-disc re-release (360)

I'm bummed that they didn't include the extra levels from the PC version, but we'll see if any of the extra stuff on the bonus disc makes up for it.

This month has been nothing but XBLA games for me, and today I downloaded Jetpac Refueled. It was much better than I thought it'd be, and it's very addicting. Including the original Jetpac was a plus, even though it's still cheap as hell.

So I took Gamestop's 25% off used games coupon that i found on cheapassgamer.com, went to pick up Ninja Gaiden Sigma, since they just had the price drop, but was surprised to find Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for only $25, and ended up with both.

And I still plan to pick up Metal Gear Solid 4 at Costco tomorrow.

I also grabbed Joust off the Playstation store last week.

I finally caved in and bought a 360 after the $50 dollar price drop. I got the last one at a Target 1/2 hour away from me and I got a $25 dollar Gift Card. I also got a Wireless Adapter for it, but i'm gonna return it.

Later, I went into gamestop and traded in all my PS2 Games and a couple Pokeman games, and got over $100 Dollars with the help of an edge card. Got an issue of Game Informer and a copy of GTA IV.

I'm probably gonna buy a wireless adapter with my edge card and 20% coupon off used games/accessories next week for $49 (Versus $100 at Target), and Halo 3 or CoD4 for about $40 Bucks.

I also ordered up a copy of Zombies ate My Neighbors for the SNES for 17.99, including Manual.

Couldn't help myself and picked up Turok for the 360 when I saw it had a reasonable price. I don't really understand all the hate for it, it's been a blast so far and multiplayer is great. The knife kills never get old.

Got GTA IV for 360. Going to attempt to pick up a used Wireless Adapter for $49 ($70 - 10% Off Edge Card - 20% Off Coupon), and Halo 3 Legendary Edition at Best Buy for $30. If I can't get any of themm ,i'll pick up a new adapter for $100 and a used copy of CoD4 or Halo 3 for around $30 at Gamestop

ehh, i mostly just got a handful of ds games. i'm still waiting for the right chance to snatch up a wii. or is the ps3 better? i've heard so many mixed answers.
so anyways, i got:

Professor Layton and the Curious Village - sooo amazing. it's actually challenging, i think. really makes me think from 42803 different angles.

Sonic Rush - ehh, not so great. it was on sale for cheap so i bought it on a hunch. now i know why it was on sale -_-" there's not really much you can do but play through the levels. no exploring or anything like the gamecube or dreamcast sonic. *whispers* kind of dissapointing.

Yoshi's Island - interesting.. i guess? pretty cool but not one of my favorites.

Mario Party - so much fun! especially when you download play with other people. plus, the puzzles are really fricken' interesting.

Mario Kart - i still play mario kart on my ancient N64, so the ds game was pretty much a must-have. it was really easy to beat the computers on the N64, but it's really challenging to get first place in the DS version.
...nonetheless, it's still pretty amazing >.<

After searching 4 stores over 3 days, I finally got a used 360 Wireless Adapter. The first day I was SOL, and I forgot my Edge Card. Later that day, I checked online and saw there were was one at my mall. So I went, and it turns out I went into the wrong store (there are two in my mall, and one about a 3min drive from the mall too). I then realized I left the 20% off Used Stuff Coupon at home (but had the Edge Card). Fortunatly, the GS Employee was able to call up the other store and tell them to save it. So today I went to the other GS and got the 360 Wireless Adapter, as well as the old version of CoD4 for $80, so I got 50% off I had bought them new. With $30 Store Credit from trading my PS2 stuff in, I got them both for $50.

Yay me!

Bought a copy of Grandia 2 for Dreamcast and Chu Chu Rocket for GBA at my local PnT store.

Along with a Zelda sound drop gashapon (I got the bomb one, and theres another there with the heart. Supposedly the next time i head there, the heart will still be there. And for 4.99 (plus .10 precent off) its quite a deal)...:

I just downloade WOTB:3 Commando from Xbox Live Arcade, and by the Higher Being, it is one of my favorite Arcade game. Also it comes with a Street Fighter 2 Beta, that I haven't gotten around to playing yet.
