I've seen on the net a video called "the new Justice League, superfriends." It has on the cover the art for the new series and has the first 6 episodes. Is this video out? I'd buy it, over the dvd since it has 3 extra episodes. I've never seen the show because here in Canada, it doesn't air.

I wouldn't trust this guy. He doesn't list what episodes are actually on the video, and calls the group the Superfriends. But more importantly are the episodes, and episodes 1-6 would mean parts 1-3 of Secret Origins, parts 1-2 of In Blackest Night, and only part 1 of Enemy Below.

I don't know where he has found 6 full story arcs if that is what he means. Even assuming each story has all parts, only Secret Origins, In Blackest Night, Enemy Below, Paradise Lost (count 'em - that's 4!) have aired, and only one half of the "War World" arc.

Don't buy from this guy. He's trying to rip you off, and what he is doing is technically illegal. This is not in stores and, from what I have heard, isn't scheduled to be in stores anytime in the future. Jim Harvey, however, would be able to better confirm a possible release of JL on VHS.

Hope I helped to save you your money.

It says it has Secret Origins parts 1&2, In Blackest Night parts 1&2, and The Enemy Below parts 1&2. So, it's missing one.

But, I believe you can buy a Justice League video on April 23rd, the same day the DVD comes out. All it has is SO, but it's official.

Thanks for your the help. I wasn't planning on buying off that guy. He charges to much since and since I'm in Canada it would be a lot more. I hadn't seen the video anywhere except on ebay and it seems only he sells it. I wanted to know if such a video existed or if it was a custom.
Thanks again.

Nope- not an official release. Not the lack of any credits on the backside, as well as the copyright to Wacko Videos - a company that doesn't exist. This is an unofficial release...I wouldn't pic it up. Plus, the art on the case is press release art.

As for JL VHS, so far just Secret Origins on the 23rd of April.

Definitely homemade... I love people who try to pull off this kind of rip-off stuff... Boggles the mind !! Like anyone who was a fan of the shows couldn't possibly run a VCR and tape 'em themselves, could they ?? This guy's trying to make money using COPYRIGHTED materials, and then has the audacity to make no mention of the fact that it's taped off TV, or the usual "collector to collector" copyright disclaimer. These guys should be prosecuted, or at least hunted down and flogged ! Ever check for animation cels ? There's a guy who has printed off model sheets from the Cartoon Network website, and then painted them (in bad color choices !!?) and is trying to pass them off as WB Model Cels !!!
Unreal !

If anyone cares, I've been making video covers for MY OWN video tapes of JL. I think they're kinda cool, and I would be willing to share with anyone out there who would like to see 'em - fan to fan - just for fun. Just send me an e-mail address. I've done "Secret Origins" and "In Blackest Night / The Enemy Below" so far, using pictures that were available to us from various sites, including this one.
