View Full Version : If you were a villain, which villain would you want to be?

Let's say you were going to turn to a life of crime and you decided to model yourself after one of the BSTAS/BB villains, who would you want to be most like? The random psychoticness of Joker? The seductiveness anti-hero stylings of Catwoman? The power and godlike qualities of Darkseid? The corporate sleaze behind Lex Luthor or Derek Powers? Well, I'm sure you get my point.
If I was a criminal, I'd want to be most like the Riddler. His plots are just so brilliantly clever, it's amazing.

No prizes for guessing my choice. :p

Oh, for me it would always be a toss-up (pun intended) between either Joker or Two-Face - both are criminal masterminds, brilliant people, absolutely insane, and just all-out cool.
I already have the mindset for both, so basically, it'll come down to a flip of a coin.

I would HAVE to be DARKSEID
heres a guy who weaves such subtle webs and deceptions and can also go toe to toe with ANYONE
i could give awesome speeches and then blast people with Omega beams
how awesome is THAT?

Ra's al Ghoul. The guy just reeks of style and has lived to see a lot of stuff. In general tho, through out all continuities, I would have to pick Dr. Doom or Magneto. Both great villains, or anti-heroes, as the case may be.

I would want to be Brainiac, getting to travel the universe, seeing different alien cultures, and destroing them.

Joker. I'd love to run around town doing what I feel like, causing havoc "just because", and having the masses fear my insanity. A close second would be Catwoman. :D

I'd want to be a sympathetic Mr. Freeze type.

Yeah, I'd definitely be Mr. Freeze. No question about it

Female:
Poison Ivy
Why: She is absolute female power. She can kill a man by sleeping with him. It's what every man fears: A woman with power.
Male:
Scarecrow
Why: I appreciate terror and striking fear into the heart's of the weak. Demon's haunt us and it would be an honor to be the one to bring them forth and destroy lives.

Clayface for me. There'd just be SO much fun to be had if I had his abilities...

I'd model myself after the Scarecrow or the Joker, but with more of a zany personality like Creeper. I'd rather be more of a nuisance than a threat. :D

Actually some men crave one. ;)
The truth is, it's a very hard question to answer. I don't see myself as the evil type- well not on purpose. I honestly think being Clayface would be sick- you could go around shap-shifting to whatever you want.
I just want my own Harley Quinn.

Good point. I'd like to have a hot chick desperatley in love with me...
Well, in the end I gotta go with Clayface- there's so much you could do, and I wouldn't be "crazy" persea, just maybe a small time crook?

Gee, let me think...
Considering my whimsical nature and my tendency toward being a romantic twit, I'd probably be closest to old Jervis. But I've always been mildly fascinated by shapeshifters, so I'd love to take a Clayface body for a spin and wreak utter havok! My hands would form into axes... then wrecking balls... then blenders...
Hey! That's handy to have around when you want a quick margarita, buddy!

Cosmocat and Hatter make a good point. Heck, I could just be Clayface pretending to be Maxie. Then I could rub clay all over myself and be Clayface pretending to be Maxie pretending to be Clayface. Which is exactly the kind of madness Maxie would indulge in.
See how it all nests so perfectly? :p

Anyone else remember the Great Challenge from the Golden Age?
Joker, Pengiun, & Clayface each wagered he was the greatest thief in all of Gotham.
Hmmm. So nobody wants to be short, fat, & balding? Sorry Oswald.
Hmmm, if I could be a villain, I'd play it "safe" and be Anarky.
A. no trips to Arkham.
B. never kills.
C. low priority on the Bat-radar.
D. can go around assaulting fat cats & politician scum.
E. vigilante/anti-hero/villain
Last time I saw he had a mullet. I'd have to correct that no-no!!!

Definitely the Joker! Hey if I can I play him well in the RPG's I could be a good Joker in the real world right? :D But he's just great, a good "healthy" amount of insanity to liven up the town and make everything a joke ^^

Clayface will help you like anyone, but will it help you in getting tune with their M.O.? Hmmm.

Lex Luthor. He's filthy rich, he doesn't get hurt alot, and he has so many resources.

Lex Luthor all the way! As my buddy at school always says, "come on, the guy has got it all. Money, and Power. What else do you need?"
I think it could be interesting to be Harley Quinn. She's a coplete nutso, wears an awesome costume and does a lot of crazy stuff. I love her gadgets!
And then there's Catwoman. The costume and whip alone are enough to make me want be her if I was a villain. Not to mention being bad, but not really being all that bad, and getting to tease Batman. And all the pretty little kitty's she has :p

I'm actually surprised that Clayface was never seriously considered to be a villain in a Batman live-action film. His visual potential is unparalelled when compared to the other Bat-villains, and it'd also be a kick to have a great-looking big star to play him. Someone who really DID get his foot in the door based on his looks.
Alas, this probably won't happen for a LOOOONG time, if ever. Sucks. :(
Brother Nature

It would definitely be Poison Ivy or Catwoman.
I would just love to be able to grow plants & flowers in a matter of seconds wherever I go & be a full pro in the field of botany...
To have the power to fight for the rights of animals, plant life & the protection of Nature...
To punish unscrupulous people who destroy Nature & her assets - and take her children(plants & animals) for granted...
(Being such a powerful "eco terrorist" as Batman would say or "environmental fanatic" as Red Claw would say, would be so cool)
Not to mention being -
Immune to all poisons & toxins!
Having the nimbleness & skill to leap/glide from one building to another, jump down from tall trees, sommersault & be an expert in kicks & self defense arts!
Having wonderful lairs & greenhouses filled with marvelous plants of all sorts.
Being able to create plants with the skill to attack humans.
Having Catwoman's whip/cat-o-nine tails & her kitties.
Being a professional thief/cat burglar & the ability to steal all sorts of valuables and get away with it
And of course, I would also like to be a Catwoman-esque anti hero who would delve in heroism at random.
So being Poison Ivy or Catwoman would HAVE to be the coolest, darndest thing IMO! :)
(Although in my case, I'd probably have to be a male version of either of them - which would definitely take away/detract from the glory & essence of those characters, but stilll...it would be absolutely awesome!!!!) ;)

I'd be Lex Luthor. Having all that money and being able to fool everyone into thinking I was a nice guy but really sceming behind their backs sounds quite the life.

Oooh, good point. I think that simply being filthy stinking rich is a good enough reason to be Lex. ;)

I dunno...so what if Lex is rich...now, Mr. Freeze, I'd love to be him (of course, minus the tragic, depressing, "I've-Got-No-Lower-Body" part).

Yah, it's good to think of the advantages these villains have, but what about the disadvantages? Many people have mentioned Clayface, but how long until you started to miss your human form? I seem to recall Hagen wanted a way out. And remember, his shapeshifting ability was like flexing a muscle; he couldn't hold it for very long.

That's why Clayface needs to make money and find someone that can cure his problem. He did fix the control aspect in the new adventures.
