As some of you Duckman fans may know, the premiere episode, "I, Duckman", is without a director credit, and is the only episode (to my knowledge) to feature this anomaly. I'm not sure -why- said director was left off the credits; he or she did a fine job, especially impressive considering it was their first episode and the visual tone hadn't yet been established.

Anyone know who directed this episode?

Not sure but if I were to guess I'd say Raymie Muzquiz.

Any particular reason, or is it a random guess? Duckman's not exactly a show where you can differentiate between director styles very easily, at least not compared to, say, David Silverman on The Simpsons, whose work is usually evident compared to the rest.

Just a random guess because there doesn't seem to be much information on the first episode concerning the director.

This is just wishful thinking, but perhaps the director will be revealed on the disc packaging or audio commentary for the upcoming Season 1 & 2 set.

Bump. According to info on the Seasons 3 & 4 DVD, the aired pilot was directed by Marv Newland. (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0627954/) Another mystery solved!

I don't think he directed any more episodes of the show, but I could be wrong.
