The Ant Bully is premiering this Sunday. There's a commercial on TV promoting it, and at the end, it shows a picture of a house with the multicolored word "The Flicks" on the house. The narrator says "Watch a new movie with the Flicks, every Sunday." This means the movie premiere block is now called the Flicks. I don't know what this means for Epic Chow, but the Sunday night movie block is definitely called The Flicks.
good to know a name is out than a random movie every week like earlier in the year. And I still wish CN kept the old CN theater rather then changing it to movie madness. Hope this block stays

It's a better name than Epic Chow, that's for sure.

The classic Cartoon Theatre with the old time ticket box and the bumps you mentioned were without a doubt the best. That version also showed the best movies: You don't see American Tale or The Jetsons Movie on CN anymore

Don't be so sure that you've seen the last of Epic Chow. Maybe "The Flicks" is just a temporary block until they get Epic Chow running. Idk, I guess I like the idea of their being two movie hosts who go behind the scenes, if only it didn't have to be live action. But I agree, Epic Chow is a stupid name, and The Flicks is definitely a better name. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I agree. Flicks makes so much more sense to use for a movie block than Epic Chow does. It also actually makes sense. Cartoon Theater did have a great opening with that lion's roar, but it seems that CN is making better use of a movie block, with giving it a better title, than they have for awhile. And they also seem to be trying to add more new movies, which is also a good thing. I may check out The Ant Bully and see if its any good on Sunday. I have a lot of free time for summer anyway.

True. One thing I've noticed is that most of the new movies announced are all CGI animated ones. I know that CGI animated movies are becoming more dominant over traditionally animated movies lately, but I'd like to see some more traditionally animated movies that are new too, but I don't even know how long ago the last traditionally animated feature that Turner can legally air was made.

Man, I noticed Flicks were the first ones to have Noods in their bumpers.
BTW, can we use this to disscuss the Flicks more?
