What are your best and worst subjects in school, and why? Are there some classes you're good at but don't like, and others where you like it but aren't doing too well in?

Lets see, the only class I like is my World History class, and that's because I think my teacher is cool.
My most hated is.......anything to do with Math. I swear, those formulas and everything kill me every time. :(

Let me think of the subjects I've hated from high school/college:
Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Calculus, Statistics (with a vengeance  ).
Subjects I've liked:
Astronomy (science is cool, when I get to learn about the things I want to learn about), Legal Studies, English/Writing (depending on the books), Foreign Languages, and I guess I have to say Marketing & Communications since they are my majors.
Any subject can be interesting, it all depends on the teachers. The great ones can make alphabetizing phone books across America interesting. The terrible ones can make swimming in a pool of jello sound boring.

Well, I was in honors math, with this little jackass teacher. He was exaclty 5'0" tall, and had a major napolean complex, hating tall people (like me). He's one of those guys who wants you to fail, taking off points wherever possible... That crapface. :) I hope he dies in his sleep. As if the course wasn't impossibly hard enough...
... So I dropped into regular (which is still technically accelerated) math, which is my easiest class. Go figure.
English, Math, Biology, are easy.
Global isn't hard, but I don't get good grades in it, which is strange.
Chinese is hard. And the class is so small that you have the exact same class for six years... Boy I'm starting to hate some of those people...

Okay. I am very, very, good at history. I can debate with my history teacher on any and all subjects...and he's a very good teacher, don't worry. Besides, I enjoy history, so it naturally comes to me.
...but math is my worst. All I can say are these two things:
1. No matter how bad you are, I'M WORSE. :D
2. I can barely count. Yes, I've counted wrong sometimes. -_-;;

My best subjects in school is Law and Art. Both those courses are filled with the slacker variety who took the course because they thought it was easy and because they couldn't do math. In comparison to them, they make me shine. :D
English is easy, but I don't really have an opinion of it. My mark is not as high as I'd like it to be though. (84)
My worst subject is Algebra-Geometry, but I'm starting to get better. The units are getting easier on the second half of the year.
Coincidentally, I was kicking ass in Calculus, until the second half of the year hit. I still like Calculus, but I'm starting to get lost... not really my fault though, our teacher rushes through the lessons insanely.

Favorite classes: Science was good....
English is great because I have a cool teacher(seriously)
Theatre Arts would be better if the teacher wasn't so boring at times
My band class is fun, except for the very rare tests we have now and again
And my last favorite class would have to be PE....and that's it! :D
Least favorite classes: World History was one of my least favorites because all we did was read, do a worksheet on each section of the chapter, watch movies, read again, take a test, and repeat. I fell asleep every day in that class and still made an A!
Math is SO boring! All we do is problems and equations and all that other stuff over and over......very boring and very easy.
Band in middle school was bad because the teacher had the personality of a wet rag. :yakko:

I was kinda hard to peg down in school. I got incredible grades in Earth Science, for example (and even completed my semesters of it early so I got passes every day for the last few weeks of the class so I could go to libary and goof off for an hour!), but when it came to regular science classes about elements and such, I did miserably.
I did miserably in my English classes, also, struggling to maintain a D average, sometimes a C, with my fair share of Fs thrown in. But I was encouraged by one English teacher to take an advanced writing class. This class was for students who AVERAGED a B or better in English. That was WAY outta my league. Heck, even the other students laughed at me when she was suggesting that. But I took the advanced writing class and got As. I guess I could write it better than I could break it down and tell you the structures of each sentence.
Art was one I was consistently good in. That's the only class that helped me get on the honor roll.

It's hard to say which is my favorite class because in the subject I enjoy the most, History, I get the lowest grades. (I hate AP!) I like Chemistry. It isn't as terrible as my friends made it out to be. English is all right, but it's also an AP course.
Algebra 2 and Spanish are only barely tolerable, and I do okay in them. I get some of my best writing done in Algebra. ;)
I despise every Religion course I've ever taken, except World Religions. We learned about everything except Christianity. I miss that class. The teacher was so cool. (He kept a stack of YM magazines in his desk for visitors.)

I hate math and language, why, because I have a REALLY bad teacher. Not a bad person, just a bad teacher. She just reads the little rules boxes, and if you don't undestand reads them again... Next year we get a really cool math teacher, although, he is a lousy person, lol. Um, I don't hate any subject per say.. Edit, o, yeah, science, I can't stand it, horrible. I mean, who really cares about it? And if you do, go look it up.

I get good grades in all my classes so I don't really know which class is my worst.
Favs: English(it's the most fun), math('cause it's my best subject, even if I have a not so great teacher ::drowns in note taking::)
hmm seems that not everyone likes math ::puts up a shield::
Evil classes: so far it's only world history 'cause the teacher was evil! evil I tell ya! Even if it was a fairly easy class....it probably made my vision worse since we had to watch and read 'bout 50 million things :( but I'm glad it was only a one semester class!
neutral: french(my teach is eh eccentric), science(evil classmates all right subject they balance each other out ^^)

Back in high school, I did consistantly well in all my courses. Math was my best subject. I agree it's boring, the only way I know to get good in math if you're not a genious is to practice, which was me before high school. It's tedious work and a pain. My hardest subject was always science, whether it be physics, bio, or chem, but I always pulled out at the top of my class. I hated English and History at the time and thought I wasn't any good in those subjects because my reading and writing skills were horrible. It's why I leaned more to math and science.
Now college is a whole different matter. My major used to be biology, but my grades were dropping. Simply because I wasn't studying. I had no interest in science especially with the competition I was up against. Now I'm a history major. BIG surprise, since I hated history in high school. My reading and writing skills have improved greatly since freshmen year of college and I'm actually confident about my abilities (although my math skills have plummeted with no regular math courses :p). The teachers also make a big difference, just as Failure mentioned.

I'm a proudly classified Teacher's Pet, and as my friends lovingly call me a "school slut", meaning I just love school and homework. Not that they're wrong in that though, lol. My absolute favorite subjects, and the ones that I am the best at, are English and History. Last year both my English and History teachers kept telling my mom that I need to be a teacher in the subject they were teaching. My worst subject would have to be Math and Science. I don't dislikes these subjects, but they just aren't my strong points. I have always been great when it came to the arts and reading, but when it came to formual's and equations, I'm screwed. I plan on majoring in History, and dabble in information/research sciences, if acting doesn't take off that is.

I like P.E. because it's the only class that I am really good at :)

Best subjects: Math, History, Econ
Worst subjects: English, English, English
It took me a weekend to write a two-page essay, but never needed to take notes in Algebra and loved geometry. In college, I aced both Macro and Micro economics and Accounting, and although I took three years of Spanish, I hardly remember any of it.
My worst subject is definately math. I've always liked English though. :D
