This should probably on the AnyGen board. That's for things like Avatar question, and general topics.

But anyway, you only need 10 posts to get an avatar. It has to be .gif or .jpg, and limited to 75x75 pixels. There are plenty of people on the boards (Bird Boy makes alot, I believe naraht has a webpage with a bunch) to help you out, all you gotta do is ask (like in the Official Avatar Thread or by private messaging someone, or looking in naraht's signature).

But I'd definately read the FAQ and the RULES if you haven't already.
