The Vacation: Mung Daal, Shnitzel and Chowder are about to go to beach when Chowder accidentally locks Mung, Shnitzel and himself in the restroom.

The Sleep Eater: Chowder eats a midnight snack which throws his appetite off kilter and becomes a sleep-eater, engulfing wildly only in his sleep and not feeling hungry in the morning. Now he must spend one whole night awake to avoid eating anything so he can get back to normal.

I laughed when Truffles butted in, then Chowder told her she wasn't in this episode.

Wish my sodas were that long.

Chowder picked up a rat for midnight snacking?!

Truffles got willed out of existence by use of fourth wall, awesome.

Chowder: "No. You're not in this episode."

That was pretty funny. Once again, "Chowder" hits one out of the park.

Haha, I agree. Chowder dissing Truffles by saying she wasn't in the episode was extremely funny. Even my younger brother (not a CN fan) was cracking up when that happened. I love the way Chowder said it, all serious and angry like :anime:
This episode was really funny, and seeing as how Chowder is ALWAYS funny, this was exactly what I was waiting for and more after a break from Chowder.
BRING ON THE NEW CHOWDERS!!!

The look on his face when he said that was what sold it.

My favorite part was the weirdo guy. "I'm just the weirdo that haunts your dreams" or whatver. He looked ridiculous!

I watched Sleep Eater, and I really enjoyed it. I wish this show came out a few years earlier, since I would've been watching this show 24/7 since I don't have as much time/intrest in CN now

4.5/5 (For some lines poorly read by the child VA for Chowder)

If Chowder had been coming on in say, 2001 or 2002, then I think Cartoon Network would've been getting better ratings than Nick.
What lines did the VA read wrong. I like Chowder's VA, the way he said "No, You're not in this episode" and the "Blah blah blobbity blah" was absolutely hilarious, the facial expression for the former helped a lot too.

^Yeah, I honestly don't get why there's so much hate on this forum for Nicky Jones, Chowder's VA. I think the kid does a credible job, myself. Sure, he's not exactly polished, but he's a kid who voices an excitable kid. You're expecting Lionel Barrymore?

Oh my goodness they're finally putting the puppetry with the credits.

(Or is just the first time I've noticed?)

Cute episode. I just saw it and I really enjoyed it.

"No. Your not in this episode." So randomly dramatic. Love it.

They only put the puppetry when the show isn't airing on any certain block.

Is it just me, or is Truffles being given the short end of the stick by Chowder and Mung as much as Shnitzel does lately?

Yes, I just love it when shows like Chowder break "the fourth wall". That's been around for ages! Some of those Nicktoons should try that too (Well, Ren & Stimpy did).

Breaking the fourth wall is a very common thing in cartoons. I'm sure many Nicktoons other than Ren and Stimpy did it.

Maybe SpongeBob did once or twice, but I can't think of any other NickToons that did, not even Rocko. It's really more of a Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, and Ed, Edd, n' Eddy thing.

Oh c'mon, I'm sure that Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, and EEnE are the toons that fourth wall breaking are most commonly attributed to. When most people say breaking the fourth wall, those shows don't automatically come to mind. It's a pretty common thing in cartoons. I'm sure that Fairly Oddparents has done it a few times, and maybe even ChalkZone or Kablam!.

FOP, nah. Don't remember any such jokes in Chalkzone, but I wouldn't count Kablam!, being a hosting show for other segments.

But that doesn't mean Kablam isn't a Nicktoon

Nice to see the puppet segments for the credits airing now. Before, they were confined to CN Video or CN on Demand.
