With the start of June slowly coming to a close, with series that we're following heading into the home stretch(except for Macross Frontier and things like that), my sights turn to the Summer season, a mere few days away even though all the good stuff starts in July.

but this is a more of "what you'll be watching" or "what you're interested in". Here is a list of shows confirmed for Summer:

So far the things that seem interesting to me are:

Chocolate Underground (http://www.choco-bar.jp/index/next.html) - All Production I.G with catchy designs

Birdy TV (http://www.birdy-tv.com/) - A remake of an old school classic, can't wait for it

Natsume (http://www.natsume-anime.jp/) - Brought up in the Kure-Nai thread a little, Brains Base has been on a role lately even if the premise does remind me of Mushishi.

Code E: Mission E (http://avexmovie.jp/lineup/mission-e/) - The first season was charming and light hearted, it looks like they took this season in an entirely different direction.

Blade of the Immortal (http://mugen.kc.kodansha.co.jp/) - Of course you'd at least have to check this out after the masterpiece that was the manga. Even though this'll most likely fall victim to some high expectations from a lot of people, it still seems interesting.

Sekirei (http://www.sekirei-tv.com/) - It'll probably be shallow, it'll probably just be fighting and fanservice, but I'll still check it out

Ryoko's Case File (http://www.starchild.co.jp/special/yakushijiryouko/) - A detective series from the LOGH author? Sounds good enough to me

Haruka Nogizaki`s Secret (http://www.nogizaka-haruka.com/) - An ultra popular girl whose secretly a fan of anime and manga? Sounds like fun

Ikkitousen: Great Guardians (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9439)

(The) Telepathy Girl Ran (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9141)

Mahō Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9696)

Koihime†Musō (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9498)

Ultraviolet: Code 044 (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9705)

Slayers Revolution (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9500)

Strike Witches (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9139)

Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9012)

Hidamari Sketch × 365 (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=8989)

Antique Bakery (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9501)

World Destruction: Sekai Bokumetsu no Rokunin (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=10012)

Zero no Tsukaima: Princesses no Rondo (TV) (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=9200)

I'm definitely not overlooking Slayers Revolution. Don't know about Blade of the Immortal, but I plan to give it a shot. Not so sure about the rest, I still have a backlog of spring shows to take a look at.

I will check out:

Chocolate Underground
Natsume Yuujin-Chou
World Destruction
(maybe) Slayers Revolution
Maho ni Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora
Telepathy Shoujo Ran
Antique Bakery (despite what some might think, it isn't a yaoi show)

The titles that caught my interest are:

- World Destruction
- Nagizaka Haruka no Himitsu
- Blade of the Immortal
- Natsume Yuujin-chou
- Chocolate Underground

Of those, I'll definitely be watching Chocolate Underground, Blade of the Immortal, and World Destruction. The other two look interesting so I'll try to check them out as well, though I have a bad habit of planning to check a series out and never getting around to it (I still haven't started half the spring series I meant to).

OAV's, mostly.

I think its about time we got another Go Nagai OAV. More Getter Robo can't hurt.

GoLion, when I get my copy in the mail any time this month, and when the second volume comes out in August. Then of course Digimon: Data Squad, which still has more episodes to go.

Blade of the Immortal and World Destruction sound good. Chocolate Underground sounds okay, so I'll give it a shot.

Of course I will be watching Antique Bakery because the manga kicked so much ass. (And it's just a coincidence that my company happens to publish said manga...) The others probably not. I have too much to catch up on.

Slayers REVOLUTION for sure, which I'll blog. I'll record Ikkitousen (I haven't watched the last series yet) I guess. That said, while it will cost my blog some traffic, I'll start working through some of the massive backlog I still have.
