He has just sent me a raftload of usable title cards which pretty much complete the studio's post-1948 output, save for a handful of Blue Ribbon reissues that had replacement title cards ("The Leghorn Blows At Midnight" was taken out of the rotation for that reason). "Henhouse Henery" is missing for some odd reason as well.

Now, the only major gaps are a lot of the Boskos, and practically the first few years of the Schlesinger studio... and all those Blue Ribbons of the 30's and 40's.

Thanks Jon and Dave (and all the other people who made those screen captures). I love looking at title card art, it's fun to see how it changed over the years. My favorite periods are the late 30s-early 40s (lots of elaborate paintings, and even some animated titles) and the late 40s-late 50s (even more elaborite paintings and animated titles). The title art got simpler in the 60s, and was VERY simple in the early 30s, so I don't like it quite as much.

Dave, it's great to see you here at TTTP! Congratualtions on getting your new title cards, and I look forward to seeing them!
BTW, have these been posted on your website yet? If so, do you have a weblink to this page?

I case any of you are wondering, Dave and I are regular posters on the alt.tv.game-shows newsgroup; myself less frequently than I have been. BTW, if anyone has an interest in TV game shows, just drop by and someone should be able to respond to any discussions, questions, comments that you'd like to make on the subject!

Just thought all of you would like to know! :bosko:

Here are title cards for "The Leghorn Blows At Midnight" and "Henhouse Henery". Can you use these?
