Whats all this talk about people wanting Dragon Ball Z on ASA? First off, too many pokemon rejects are into it. Second, the show (in Japan) was targeted torward the 8-12 year old demographic and doesnt exactly have the most sophisticated story line. (Hey, im sure majority of you dont agree with me, and thats fine. I just like to voice my opinion. Try not to bombard me with angry posts about the god-like qualities of DBZ) Ah well, that probably wont help. Come, angry DBZ fans, and do what you must. :(
Ka-me-ha-me-h...ah, who the hell cares?

I haven't heard anything about anyone wanting DBZ on ASA.

Those are the moronic newbies on the board. Anyone who knows what Adult Swim is about knows that DBZ has no place on Adult Swim.

no It does not. It should NEVER be on ASA. Its on enough at 2 times a day and 3 times on saturday.it has nothing to do with ASA and therefore should never ever go there.

Dragonball Z DOES NOT need to be on Adult Swim Anything. This is coming from a DBZ fan, by the way. SOME of us realize that, while DBZ is a good show (FOR US), it isn't really that "mature".

DBZ should never touch the name Adult Swim...
even if they hadn't butchered it with the dub, and had left the dialogue the exact same, it just wouldn't work...
either way, it's on about 25 times a week, who the **** wants any more?

DBZ is soft it gets boring after you watch the episodes and then watch it again your like ask yourself, "Why did I watch this stuff its lame and borein"...
Another thing adult swim action is not really adult right now anyways they got all the tonnami shows on there and most everything with Y7 rating so you guys can't say its not adult enough cause they don't show real adult shows anyways...

I'm still having trouble with the idea of Bullwinkle and Rocky taking Cowboy Bebops time slot. http://www.boomspeed.com/icon/drunk2.gif Still the new lineup on Saturday is cool.
I haven't heard anything about anyone wanting DBZ on ASA.
me niether, where did you hear that Invader?
word to the wise, invader zim kicks ass, but a lot of people here don't like it very much or have a low opinion of it. be careful, fellow follower of zim

Hey!!! I like pokemon and so does my girlfriend, and she`s 20!
DBZ is cool BECAUSE it`s plotless, pointless and ridiculous. It`s the bottom of the barrel and thus a LOT more entertaining than shows that actually try hard to be good and succeed :D
.....wait....who on EARTH has a low opinion of zim??? I`ve never heard such a thing! It`s pure art... the most sophisticated and clever show i`ve ever seen!

I am a big pokemon and DBZ fan myself, but I have to agree, neither of these shows should be on ASA. I am quite pleased to have them on in the afternoons and if time slots need to be filled for ASA then there are several other anime series available and that aren't being used that could fill that slot.
Believe it or not, I have quite a low opinion of Zim. Go figure.

Wow, that`s almost mind-boggling. People I know who hate ALL animation latch on to Zim... I can`t imagine what there could possibly not be to love :P

i personally think the DBZ they air on toonami shuldnt be on Adult Swim, but a fully uncut (i doubt it wood happen) DBZ wood be almost as mature as cowboy bebop, minus the good plot.
Also note that in Japan they didn't edit out anything in tenchi (including frontal nudity) and that was targeted at the 12-16 demographic.

itnt matter if thees nudity and cussing....its the mature plot for God's sake...grow up DBZ fans....unless you understand this fact and dont want it on AS or ASA, then your blinding yourself by by thinkng the cussng and minor nudity that DBZ has uncut is "adult"

Dragon Ball/DBZ are already way over-exposed on Toonami; it doesn't need any more airings. The thought of it being on ASA is pretty ludicrous. Even uncut, it's still a pretty simple show. But then again, it would fit in perfectly with "adult's only" TV-Y7 stuff like Pilot Candidate.

well, isn't that what makes Cowboy Bebop so "adult"? Take out the blood, alcohol consumption and swears and you've got yourself another outlaw star, which altho it is airing on Adult Swim, was edited for Toonami. The reason these shows are on Adult Swim is because the nature of the program is not suitable for children. This does not mean the plot, it means the actual visuals. If you edited any of the so-called "uncut" shows, they would be just fine for Toonami. The difference between ASA and Toonami is that they are trying NOT to edit them, hence making them adult.
