Cool, a fresh thread was probably needed. I guess the counter on BEI's website was simply counting down to the panel, so it'll be interesting to see what's said.

Edit: Title announcement at 9 PM...ho-ho.

00 is being negotiated, with who? Sci-Fi or the dreaded Adult Swim or Toonami?

I'm proud of BEI for getting back on their feets like this. Now if only they were putting out a title I want to buy and could afford...00 looks good...hmmm...

We might tomorrow.

Or there's totally a separate panel for the whole show. Yeah, so if we are getting it at all, it'll be tomorrow.

With Gundam as one of the properties in that show, bring it on. Though I will admit haven't Bandai been slow or had problems with the distribution of their DVDs in the past because I don't want this series to be "on hiatus" because of what's going on with ADV and whether or not Bandai will buy the series.

Any Blu-ray release for Geass?

Code Geass being released in partial season sets to conclude in January? Nice. Between this, Gurren, and some of RightStuf's and FUNimation's recent titles, we'll be seeing a lot more partial season/complete series releases from the start. And I, for one, welcome it.

Woo, a date for the first Code Geass set! And season 1 finishing up by January is good news. I'm glad we're not getting singles here. I would have bought them, but the partial sets take up so much less shelf-space. I wonder what we'll get in the collector's edition?

And I'm glad to see 00 is in negotiations for TV. It deserves to air, for sure.

Any Blu-ray release for Geass?

Looks like they're just doing blu-ray for movies right now. Also, the second Geass set will be released in October.

They should take a note from the Japanese SEED box and release 00 in alternate sex marketted 3D packaging. The set for females will be based on Alleujah's chest and the one for guys will be based on Sumeragi. Or if you can't decide, you can have Tiera.

That would be nice and all but has Pizza Hut expressed any interest in sponsorship?

Not to anyone's knowledge, no.

If there is nothing in the press about Pizza Hut offering its sponsorship to Code Geass for the R1 release, then that is a sign that the show will have the logos edited out.

Why would they edit out free advertizing?

Why would they edit out free advertizing?

Sometimes companies don't want to be associated with shows. While Pizza Hut Japan doesn't mind, Pizza Hut U.S. might. Which is why the broadcast version is editing the logos out.

Forget Gundam, Gurren Lagann or even Code Geass.... It's all about... SWORD of the Stranger!

Why would they edit out free advertizing?

Because it's all give and no take. The better question is, why SHOULD they advertise Pizza Hut for free?

Matter of opinion dude. Personally for me, I can wait for Gundam 00, Terra and Geass + Gurren Lagann.

Sword of the Stranger actually sounds pretty cool, but obviously the best news this weekend is GL's TV deal.

Hahaha. I just recently watched it. Best anime film of 2007 and possibly 2008. Though yes, just my opinion. Gurren Lagann confirmation is quite the news though clearly. Real Biggest NEWS!? Bandai actually licensed the television and digital distribution rights to Starz (the parent company of Manga Entertainment), and it indicated that both types of distribution rights are being explored.
