IF Dynamite Action Squad WAS ON WEEKDAY DO YOU THINK IT BRING ALOT OF RATINGS.:)

Maybe. It's hard to say if it would beat the rerun ratings of CN's weekday line-up (which is mostl comedies) but if you mean if was on say 4-6PM or 5-7PM then the question is would the reruns of action shows do better than the reruns of comedy ones. I'd rather watch the action but I'm not in their target demographic.

no i just want to know would it bring atleast the same amount ratings as toonami did?:deedee:

That's hard to say, since the shows on DAS seem to be aimed at a younger audience than the shows on Toonami were.

Add to that the fact that many of the DAS shows are still relatively new and don't yet have enough episodes to air every weekday. Good or not, people would quickly grow tired of seeing the same 8-10 episodes of a show over and over again.

Miguzi comes to mind but considering all of the current DAS line-up except Robotboy has either been on Toonami or on Jetstream I don't think it can be argued that Toonami aims that much higher than DAS. Not usually anyway but there should be a difference.

DAS on weekdays would be the Miguzi of today but I guess with more focus on boys (at least in the packaging).

It would air Pokemon, Ben 10, Transformers, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (assuming CN was still airing it), Robotboy and eventually Blue Dragon and Bakugan. Possibly Storm Hawks and maybe even Naruto (but probably not given the "as little anime on weekdays" policy CN seems to have today).

So I'd figure the line-up would probably be something like this right now.

04:00 - Pokemon
04:30 - Robotboy
05:00 - Ben 10
05:30 - Transformers: Animated

Blue Dragon and Bakugan have at least 26 episodes already dubbed so they could burn through that content entirely and that's typically what CN considers "enough" for weekdays and Transformers is already on at 6AM with less than 20 episodes. But Alien Force wouldn't hit weekdays for a little while other than special airings.

judging how Miguzi is long gone, probably not well

Honestly, they should try to though. Especially when the Friday Night block shows reach 20 eps, they could pair all 4 of those shows with Transformers Animated and Pokeman to make a huge weekday action block..

I'd rather it not come to weekdays; Seeing that stupid kid Blake and his pothead friends on fridays and saturdays is enough for one week...

YES. CN should totally do it. I miss action on weekday afternoons.

Isn't Blake like, 10 years old? I hope he doesn't smoke pot.

Well he acts high all the time

That's probably because he's a ten year old boy on television and gets paid to act, as what some people might see, as high, or just really hyperactive. I would call Blake and his friends hyperactive, at least during some of the segments, but I think calling them high is a bit much. He and those other kids are probably just having a fun time doing this kind of stuff as well.

As for the original topic, I also think that it would be great for CN to have another weekday afternoon block. I really did like watching CN's afternoons for some good action shows. Despite all of the negative comments I've heard about it, I actually did like Miguzi. I do realize that the block pretty much fizzled out during its last year and a half, at least it did in my opinion, but I was always able to find at least one or two watchable shows on the block. Anyway, if they were going to put Dynamite Action Squad on weekdays, they would probably go with a schedule similar to Sketch mentioned. They could only use their shows that had enough episodes to last through a few good weeks of weekday airings. I would think that new shows like Ben 10 Alien Force would get a weekday slot until more episodes aired.

I guess you're right, he acts that way cuz the execs PAY him to act that way, so i guess its the execs' fault that the kids on Fried Dynamite and DAS or so hyperactive all the time.
As for DAS on weekdays, I guess the more reasonable reason I dont want it on weekdays is because I don't like all the shows on it too much. RobotBoy is ok, and I don't care about Transformers, but I dont really like Bakugan or Blue Dragon. Alien Force is really the only one show I like. That doesn't mean I'm not up for a weekday action block, i WANT a weekday action block. But not DAS, and not Miguzi, cuz I didn't like that either. All I wish is for Toonami on weekdays again. Those were the days...

Hey, I just want to remind everyone that CN Executives/Workers have been known to pop up at this board. So I really wouldn't say that

If CN executives show up here and see this, then maybe it'll knock some sense into them and make them understand to take a different approach

Possibly, but since I think that the majority of people who post on this board are well outside of their targeted age group, then they may not really care about how we feel about their schedules. That's at least the thinking process for most channels anyway, but I don't agree with it either. It couldn't hurt to hear out other age groups who are still interested in what they're doing, but I'm not sure if any executives are bold enough to take that kind of different approach to their programming.

I don't really know much about how TV demographics and ratings work and all, but I think Cartoon Network should be aiming at a higher demographic. They aren't doing so hot right now with the younguns, and back in the early '00's when they had a very classy, more adult bringing feel in their programming and promotion, they were more successful. They still did good with the younguns cuz they had more variety, but their shows also appealed more to adults at the same time. So maybe Cartoon Network SHOULD be caring about what other audiences are thinking, because even though I'm 15 (just out of their targeted audience), I still watch Cartoon Network and I know for a fact there's a large group of other people my age (and older) watching it too. So I don't know, I've said it a few times before, but Cartoon Network needs to start changing its direction and take a new, or better, an old approach.

Hey, I'm part of the really important tween demographic. But true, they would most likely won't listen. They should try aiming at getting wider demographics. What's wrong with teenagers or adults. Sure, kids are where the real moneys at, but still.

Well, I'm not saying they shouldn't be aiming for the tween demographic too, they should just widen their range to older crowds too. Think of it this way, Cartoon Network is trying to appeal to the tweens with Out of Jimmy's Head; How often do you watch and enjoy Out of Jimmy's Head?? Now think of how more grown ups enjoyed stuff like Acme Hour and the Tex Avery Show. But kids enjoyed that too, so back then, they had a wider demographic. I'm sure more adults/teenagers would enjoy that kind of stuff if it was still on today.
