Hello all,
I've been having trouble with a PC game and have nowhere to turn. The game is "B-17 Flying Fortress" and I cannot get it to run properly. Every time I start it I get a blue screen with a fatal exception 06 error.
I'm thinking this has something to do with "A3D" which the game forced me to install because it "needs it to run properly." What exactly is A3D anyway? Did it mess with my sound drivers? Is it just a program of some kind? Does anyone know?
Anyway, I came to the tz forums because I can't get any tech support from the game company. I tried the tech support phone number and couldn't get through (it wouldn't even ring on MY end of the phone for some reason). Then I tried the support web page and it wouldn't load! I'm rather irritated with this game/company right now. :mad:
Anyway, if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. This game looks cool and it would be nice if I could actually PLAY it... :eek:
If anyone wants to know the exact error messages...here they are...I've had two varieties and they always pop up right after I click on the icon to start the game:
fatal exception error 06 has occurred at 0028:C19497EA in VXB A3D(03) + 00000CA
fatal exception error 06 has occurred at 0028:0000000B
