With the show coming back at a reasonable time now, what are your favorite episodes/moments in the show?
I really like the first half(first 50-60 episodes) of the show. It blended the right amount of action, comedy and drama. I think my favorite episode is the one that introduces Sango. Her backstory is very moving and seeing her brother die before her eyes was one of the best parts of the episode.
I also liked the episodes where Inuyasha went to the modern world. It was enjoyable to have episodes where it didn't take place in the feudal era. That and the humor reminded me of Ranma 1/2 at times, which is a good thing.

I tend to like the more serious/sad episodes....My favorite is probably "Tragic Love Song of Destiny",which is about Inuyasha and Kikyo's relationship before they were tricked into betraying one another...
Also liked "Return to the Place Where We First Met" and "Two Hearts,One Mind",which deal with the Inuyasha/Kagome relationship...
others I enjoyed were...
"Mystery of the New Moon and the Black Haired Inuyasha" and the "Fateful Night in Togenkyo" two-parter,both of which deal with Inuyasha having to fight a strong opponent while in human form...
"Jinenji,Kind Yet Sad" and the episodes with Shiori...which feature other half-demons like Inuyasha, and it's interesting seeing how their lives compare to his...

I'm few of the people that say this, I really enjoyed any episode that focus on Kagura. She pretty much the most interesting character in the series, and it sucks the anime didn't finished her storyline stuff. But my most favorite episodes are The Band of Seven arc. Because its pretty much a new set of villians that are more of a theart then Naraku was at the moment.

I actually thought the Band of Seven arc dragged on for too long and was poorly resolved. My favorite episode of the later ones was actually a filler one where Miroku thought his master was going to die, and they wander into the mist, where so much hilarity ensues I was holding my ribs at the end of it.
The first 50 or so were definitely the best, but any episode involving Inuyasha in the human world usually turned out well, IMO.

When Inuyasha was possessed by a demon flea and tried to flirt with Shippo.
The scene where Inuyasha and Koga kept calling each other an idiot over and over in the Band of Seven Arc.

When the Tetsusaiga breaks and Inuyasha goes full demon for the first time is pretty memorable for me.

"Return to the Place Where We First Met" is easily my favorite Inuyasha episode. I got a little choked up the first time I watched it, considering I'm a hopeless romantic.
I also liked the Band of Seven episodes. They were a fresh change from the constant "rawr Naraku" stretches.
The Band of Seven episodes were my favorite, the leader with the big sword was badass and definately my favorite Inuyasha character.

I'm few of the people that say this, I really enjoyed any episode that focus on Kagura. She pretty much the most interesting character in the series, and it sucks the anime didn't finished her storyline stuff. Kagura had to be the best demon villain in the show. and she even got better in Castle Beyond the Looking Glass. she was one of the few complicated "bad" personalities. She was powerful but not stupid. When they started mixing her with Sesshomaru,,, YaY.
My favorite episode that springs to mind was when they all came after Miroku before he was sucked into his own wind tunnel.
The series really lost it's high standing with me after Tetsuaiga got the Backlash wave. I still watched them for the occasional gem episode, but the main storyline sagged a bit.
